Hyunjin was pacing outside his boyfriend's apartment door, waiting for him to come outside.
A few more rounds after, the wooden door creaked open and Jisung stepped out.
"Sung! What were you doing?! We will be late," Hyunjin said panicking while looking at his watch.
"It's fine! Your parents can wait a few extra minutes plus you are the one dragging it even longer now! Let's go."
Hyunjin opened his mouth to say something but Jisung had already started walking towards the elevator.
They went inside the elevator and got down at the ground floor, walking to Hyunjin's car and getting inside, Hyunjin sitting on the driver's seat and Jisung sitting on passenger's.
Then Hyunjin started driving to his parent's house.
After a few silent minutes, Hyunjin spoke up.
"I am really nervous. What if they don't like you for some reason?" Hyunjin asked, voicing out his worry to Jisung.
"Don't worry, I am sure your parents will like me!" Jisung replied.
Hyunjin sighed, "Yeah, hopefully."
Jisung and Hyunjin were dating for 2 years now and they were planning on getting married soon.
Jisung's parents knew about Hyunjin since they had started dating. They had met an uncountable number of times and they really liked him and supported their relationship.
On the other hand, Hyunjin had mentioned Jisung a few times to his parents, even showed them some of his pictures but his parents had never actually met him.
Now that Hyunjin had told them that he wants to marry Jisung, they had told him to invite Jisung on a dinner in their house to meet him and to get to know him.
After all he will become their son in law in a few months time.
Jisung started rummaging through the small makeup kit he had bought claiming that he needed to put on some makeup to look presentable even though Hyunjin seemed to think otherwise.
He twisted the cap open and started applying a thin layer of eyeliner on his left eye.
At that moment Hyunjin took a turn and the car jerked towards the left. ( because of inertia- this is what happens when you learn to much physics lmao-)
