The noise of the vacuum has stopped. Cole looks up to find himself in what seems like a solitary confinement room. He starts crying, loud sobbing… retched screams, “I got played for a fucking fool! I should’ve known it was too good to be true!”
“Oh shut the fuck up you little cry baby bitch.” Cole looks up, he didn’t even see a door let alone hear one open.
And yet there she was, the woman that he has only dreamed of, lived through stories about, and couldn’t wait to finally meet. “You’re in the depository, this is where switch outs go when you’re not actually dead. But I’m glad to see you’re as emotional as your dad used to be. God how I miss that man.”
“He misses you too mom!” Cole jumps up and runs to his mother and gives her a massive hug. As soon as he gets to her though, he is overcome by the feeling of instant nausea and begins puking all over the floor. Cole was terrified, he had never seen rainbow colored puke before.“Welp, looks like you’re here to stay. I rushed down as soon as I saw Kyles energy reservoir begin to deplete back in the station, so I was expecting you. Lately there is something going on with energy transfers and they haven’t been working for the last few hours. You know what they say though… If its rainbow, get ready to glow. If its brown, well you know that one from down there.”
“So, I am staying here?” Cole sounding somewhat disappointed but already prepared for this.
Mother looked down at me a little upset by the way I am acting, “Yes you are, now we can spend so much time together, I have the rest of the day off so lets go get some ice cream and I can tell you all about the real stories and how your father was such a hunka hunka hunk… hmmm”.
“Mom, don’t make me regret this shit already, I only just got here ha-ha.” Cole said as they walk off hand in hand down the main hallway of the Magistrate of the Afterlife Headquarters already laughing and sharing their own memories of father to eachother.
