I smiled as i read his message. It was 8 in the morning so I was sure he's already warming up for his 9 am game but i decided to reply anyway- sending him cheers and good luck message which i know he doesn't need na. I locked my phone then proceeded preparing for my morning training with choco mucho.

When I went downstairs to eat breakfast I saw my mom sipping her coffee at the dining area. I kissed her good morning then went on filling up my plate.

"Mom, san si Daddy?"

"He went early sa office since he's gonna watch UAAP live"

I sighed, "Buti pa si dad, he hasn't missed any of Thirdy's games"

My mom chuckled, "I'm sure Thirdy understands your responsibilities, Bea. He's a great guy" Mom assured me as she held my hand.

"Of course he does, Mom. It's just, I wanted to support him as much as he did on my last year."

"You know I always wondered how he did it. How he managed to be present all the time for you when he was doing his thesis, practicing, and having games at that time."

I laughed then faced my mom "Trust me mom I don't know also".

After training I immediately got my phone in my bag, which made Kat and Maddie laugh and start teasing me about my boyfriend I just rolled my eyes at them and started dialing Thirdy's number. I smiled when he picked up on the second ring.

"Hey mr. MVP, congratulations!"

"Thanks, Babe! How did you know?? I'm sure your training is still going on?"

"Coach Migs told me. i was bothering him a lot kanina pa so he ended our session 5 mins earlier"

"Cute. You miss me no?"

"Hmm sakto lang"

"Ouch how cold can you get miss?"

"So arte! Where are we gonna eat later?"

"About that"

My smiled faded after hearing that, we've been rescheduling our dates thrice now and I just dont wanna reschedule anymore.

"hmm?"

"My prof in grad school said that we're gonna extend our class for another hour later and everyone agreed, so baka it will end ng three. I'm sorry I didn't know about it agad, he just emailed us earlier"

I smiled. I told him it's okay and we decided to just buy take out food and eat in his condo later. I know he's extremely tired right now because of his commitments kaya I suggested it.

The traffic from Rockwell to Katipunan is the worst that Thirdy made it back at around 5. I can sense exhaustion on his face as we sat together on his couch- him leaning his head on my shoulder- watching an episode of Bojack Horseman while eating a take out from Tetsuo.
