Hazel tossed her keys to the kitchen counter as she stood in the empty, dark living room. The only illumination was the light from the kitchen. She took off her jacket and tossed it onto the couch, Hazel pulled out her phone and put a special playlist of hers called Quiet.

Hazel sat on the couch, quizzical eyes staring at the darkened floor. Her eyes glowed in the darkness as she sat there, rethinking her decisions of the day. It was cool night at 10: 37pm, the young woman just sat there. Wondering if she still even had a chance with Mariah after pulling a stunt like that, the kiss went well but she didn't know if Mariah was that kind of girl. To take a big risk with her0 career as a singer. She, like Janet and Whitney, had guy fans who wanted the same thing Hazel wanted. To date, sex and possibly marry Mariah. But there was only one of her and the golden eyed woman had made on first impression. Mariah would take it either way, good or bad, the memory stained the DJ's mind.

Hazel sighed, she was alone. But she was currently undecided about all of this. She wanted to be alone but at the same time she didn't. Hazel raked a hand through her hair and mumbled," I'm a complete mess right now." She only hoped she didn't mess up her chance, she hoped Mariah would at least consider her gesture...But then again, it was a hard long shot.

Mia quickly took off her clothes and stripped down to her red bikini. She eased into the hot tub, slowly adjusting to the temperature until she finally sat next to Janet. The very well known singer and dancer wore a black bikini, unsurprising to Mia. It fitted her well, highlighting her curves and slim figure. It was a cool night in the middle of June in New York. The Boy is Mine by Brandy and Monica played in the back from a speaker in the hotel room. Janet chuckled and asked," Never been in a hot tub before Mia?" The makeup artist answered," Yeah, several times. I like hot water." Janet laughed at her odd and slightly nervous comment after her reply, it was cute for a woman like her to say something you'd usually hear from a child.

"By the way," Janet added," I liked the crop top you wore today. Where'd you get it?" Mia chuckled and tried to answer without showing her nervousness and excitement," It was actually one of you shirts from a tour show I bought a few years back. I just decided it looked better as a crop top."

"It looked good on you Mia. You got a nice figure."

Mia looked away, trying to hide her embarrassment from the dancer as she remarked," Thanks, same about you. Your body is to die for." The female Jackson laughed," Flirty and extra bold, I like that. So, what do you beside make up?" The young woman began to get comfortable, looking out into the distance. The city flickered and sparkled below them. The sky was sprinkled in stars and the mooned watched proudly in the distance. It was peaceful and calm out here with Janet.

"I do hair as another part of my talent and I'm thinking about owning my own business one day."

Janet nodded her head and commented with a laugh," Girl try'na get money. I see you sis." Then her expression changed and she raised an eyebrow at Mia. Her expression was serious but the makeup artist could see a small flicker of curiosity in her brown eyes.

"How did you fall in love with me?"

Mia was slightly caught off guard by the question but she answered it anyway," That's a hard one,"

It wasn't...

"I first worked with Jlo and I saw you. You were like the sweetest woman I ever met. I remember you noticing how J No No was treating me and gave me advice on not letting people treat me in any kind of way." Janet nodded her head, the memory quickly coming back to her," Oh right, that was you. Damn. What, it's been three months since that happened? I guess somebody grew into their body quiet well since then. You got a nice ass on you Mia." The makeup artist became amused, biting her lip as she slowly raised an eyebrow as well," You wanna touch it? It's yours if you want it." Janet smirked," You don't have to ask. Hope you don't mind."
