This is a warning. Please read carefully. I'm only telling this to you so you can prepare. Please take my warning.

The year is 2035. I hope this reaches the right person but that doesn't matter right now as long as someone gets this letter.

There's a war, devastation has reigned, most of the world has been destroyed. I am not sure about international government, but American government has collapsed. I don't have much time to explain what's happening, so I'll give you a rundown.

Aliens exist. They are nothing like we thought they were, they have far more superior technology, they're so mary-sue it's not even funny. We haven't found a weakness, it sucks. But not the point.

The aliens descended on us and immediately caused devastation. .02 of our planet was gone by the time the military did something. At first, it seemed like we were going to win, but then...

I'm not sure what happened, honestly, it's all a blur. Unfortunately, our country had to go to war with the aliens and other countries.

It's funny, I always thought that the End of the World would look gloomy and sad, but it doesn't; the sun still comes up, it's still extremely bright out, though I think global warming hasn't become so much of a problem. Half of the roads, highways and cars are destroyed. Homes were destroyed, we have shelters but those are being wiped out as well. We need to ration food and water. Most water is undrinkable now.

I can't say you can change this for the better, but I am saying to be prepared. Stock, get shelters, heed my warning. Please, I can't stress this enough..
