His real name was Grim Reaper, he's been doing the job for 18 years now, but his kind will always see him as a child whom loves the human world. He was reckless, grim reapers didn't normally have features, or anything really, however, he'd been banished for being a fool. He had no sense of time or direction, he was often late picking people up. For that, he was punished. Cast out of his world into the human world. Instead of being terrified or feeling hatred, he felt joy. He could now be apart of the community he watched for so long from afar. It wasn't long before dread settled over him, he was in a backyard. He looked down at his body. 5"9, skinny and lanky, unusually pale.
He walked into the home, it was obviously a home with a family, mother, father, with a child. He was forced to live with a family, going to high school as his punishment. Well, how bad could that be?
"Dakota!" He heard a woman call from outside, possibly near a driveway, "Help me bring these groceries in!" This couldn't be happening – how old was he? He walked outside, seeing the woman that called out to him, grudgingly helping her out with the groceries.
He saw himself in the mirror, black hair, brown eyes, skinny nose, thin mouth. This was him? It hardly seemed like it could be.
But this was his life for now. He learned in school that his full name was Dakota Waterfall, and he was a freshman. He had just turned 16. He was tall for his age. He wondered when he could go back to his world from time to time, after a month, he had made a friend, Darien Kneel. Darien doesn't know the full truth about Dakota yet but they are the closest friends.
