The next day Rebecca and John were waiting for the doctor to arrive to give them the all-clear to leave. When the doctor said everyone was able to leave, Rebecca realized they didn't have anything for the boys.
Rebecca: John, we don't have car seats for the boys or extra clothes; everything is in New York.
John: Don't panic, I will go out and get car seats and clothes and everything else we will need.
John left the hospital he went to Stacey's house and asked for her help they went to the store and Stacey helped him pick out everything he would need.
When John got back to the hospital, he had a bag packed with stuff and two car seats. He walked into the room and placed the seats on the bed.
John: Babe, I have everything we need.
Rebecca: Great, did you bring me a change of clothes?
John: I did, and I brought you more comfortable shoes to wear.
Rebecca: Thank you, you're the best husband ever.
John helped Rebecca dress the twins and put them in their car seats. The nurses helped Rebecca bring the twins outside while John parked the car out front of the hospital. John loaded the twins into the car while Rebecca grabbed the bags. Once everything was loaded in the car, John drove his family home.
When they got to the house, both Don and Ron were waiting to help Ron grabbed one of the carriers while John took the other Don gave Rebecca a hand with the bags. John and Ron took the boys upstairs; they set the carriers on the bed and waited for Rebecca to join them.
Rebecca: Thank you so much for setting up the bassinets for us.
Ron: No problem.
Don: We will be downstairs if you need anything.
John unbuckled Caleb from his seat and held him in his arms. Rebecca did the same with Mason.
The boys fell asleep, so they put them down.
Rebecca: I'm going to take a nap while I can; I didn't sleep much at the hospital.
John: I'll nap with you.
John and Rebecca laid down together in bed; they fell asleep in no time.
Later on in the night, they fed the boys had dinner, and the girls got to meet their cousins for the first time.
Matilda: Look, daddy, he likes me.
Ron: He does he keeps looking at you.
Constance: Why does he keep crying? Does he not like me.
Rebecca: I'm sure he likes you.
Constance: Then, why is he crying?
Rebecca took Mason into her arms and noticed he was wet.
Rebecca: He just needs a diaper change, he'll be happy in a minute.
Rebecca changed Mason then gave him back to Constance, once he was back in her arms he was happy. Constance smiled and talked to him Mason never left eye contact with her.
The girls had so much fun bonding with their new cousins that they didn't want to leave. Ron told them they would see them the day after tomorrow and that they had to go to their mom's.
John and Rebecca said goodbye to the girls then took the boys upstairs to get them ready for bed. They gave them a bottle before getting ready for bed themselves.
Once, everyone was asleep, Don came into the room and just looked at his grandsons all he could think about was how much Sally would have loved to meet them. He started to get emotional; he left the room so he wouldn't wake anyone up.
Rebecca heard a noise she woke up and looked at the boys they were both sound asleep she walked out of the room and down the hall to Don's room.
Rebecca knocked on the door softly, and Don told her to come in.
Rebecca: Are you ok, Mr. Hollar?
Don: Sorry, did I wake you up.
Rebecca: It's fine would you like to talk?
Don: I'm just missing Sally, she would have loved to meet your boys.
Rebecca: We will make sure they know all about her, and we will bring them to the lake every chance we get.
Don: I appreciate that. I'm glad you and John found each other.
Rebecca: So am I.
Don: Thank you for talking to me, you can go back to bed; I'm fine.
Rebecca: If you need anything, you know where to find us.
Rebecca left the room and went back to bed when she got in; John rolled over and put his arm around her and pulled her close to him.
John: Everything ok?
Rebecca: Yep, don't worry; go back to sleep.
John: I love you so much.
Rebecca: I love you too.
