Time jump for this chapter.
Rebecca was playing with the twins on the floor in the living room when Caleb got up on his hands and knees and started rocking back and forth.
Rebecca turned away for a minute to grab a toy for Mason when she turned back, Caleb was crawling to the other side.
Rebecca: Oh my god, Caleb, you're crawling.
Caleb looked at his mom, smiled, and kept going towards the toy he wanted.
Rebecca was so proud of Caleb but couldn't help but worry about Mason, who was just sitting there.
When John got home, Rebecca had just put the boys in their high chairs and got their food ready.
John: Hey, babe, how was your day?
Rebecca: My day was great Caleb started crawling.
John: Really, that's great.
John went over to the boys and said hello he hugged them and kissed them before Rebecca handed John and bowl and they started feeding the boys.
After dinner, they went to the living room and let the boys play a little before getting them ready for bed.
John watched as Caleb got up on his hands and knees and started to crawl away from his parents.
John chased after him and picked him up and tickled him.
John: Where do you think you're going minster?
Caleb just looked at his dad and giggled.
Rebecca watched as Mason sat there and played with a car she hoped that he would start crawling as his brother did, but he just sat there and didn't move.
Later on in the night after the boys were in bed, Rebecca and John were picking up the toys in the living room.
John: I can't believe Caleb is crawling; they are growing up too fast.
Rebecca: Yeah.
John: What's wrong? You seem upset about something.
Rebecca: I'm just worried about Mason.
John: Why?
Rebecca: He's not crawling yet or even just going on his hands and knees.
John: He's just not ready yet; that's all.
Rebecca: The book says that by seven months they should be going on their hands and knees, Mason just sits there, and Caleb is crawling all over.
John: Mason is fine he will crawl when he is ready.
Rebecca: I just don't want him to be behind; that's all.
John: Everything will be fine.
John kissed his wife then walked into the kitchen to get a drink.
Rebecca sat on the couch and continued to read her book. When John came back, he sat next to his wife and watched whatever game was on tv.
When they went to bed that night, Rebecca couldn't stop thinking about Mason.
John: Everything will be fine; stop worrying.
Rebecca: I'm his mom; it's my job to worry.
John got into bed and waited for his wife to join him; they sat and talked for a little before lying down to go to sleep.
John: I'm sure he will start crawling soon; just give him a little time.
Rebecca: I just want them to be on the same level I don't want one to feel left behind.
John: We will just work with Mason put toys out of his reach, so he has to move to get them. Rebecca: Yeah, we can try that and see what he does.
John: Remember Mason rolled over first, and you were worried about Caleb, and a few days later, he rolled over.
Rebecca: Yeah, I guess you're right; we will just give Mason a little time.
Rebecca rolled over and cuddled up next to John; she kissed his cheek and rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes.
