𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 7 - 𝑪𝒂𝒍𝒎 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒎

~ morning 9am ~

It was snowing today, as you stood in a little secluded garden.
It was cold, but it wasn't something your body couldn't handle as you were naturally always warm.
Your head was hung low as you stared at the two figures in front of you.
Little tear stains had covered your cheeks and your lips quivered at the painful sight.

You were silently crying when all of a sudden you felt an arm wrap around your shoulder and a bouquet of flowers come into view. It was Jungkook and he had brought some flowers for your parents' grave

You closed your eyes and said to yourself "appa, omma, I miss you so much." as you put the flowers on top of their graves. Your voice cracked a little as you said that and you instantly felt Jungkook's hand grip your shoulder tighter.
"Appa, omma, I wanted to introduce you to my 'mate'. His name is Jeon Jungkook. I wish you were here to meet him so you could see the wonderful and loving person that is taking care of your daughter. I hope you both are happy up there and when the time comes I hope to see you again. Saranghae omma, appa." You finally said as you now turned to Jungkook. He took the opportunity to hold your hand and then proceeded to say.
"Hello Mr. & Mrs. Kim I just wanted to say thank you so much for bringing such a precious human being into this world. I love your daughter very much and I will always protect her with my life.... She is my life. Don't worry about her. She will never be alone. From now on she will only be happy and live a wonderful life as she deserves. I hope you can watch over us from up there and give us your blessings. Rest in peace abeoji, omoni."
Jungkook now turned towards you and smiled gently.
You did the same as he slowly leaned in and kissed your forehead. The two of you did the cutest thing as you both said "I love you" in your heads the same time, followed by wide eyes of shock and bursting into laughter a few seconds later.

You guys now turned to leave before picking some of the dead flower bouquets from the graves. You started to walk back to your car. "Are there others who know and visit your parents' graves here?" Jungkook asked as he looked at the old bouquets in your hand.
"Yes of course, my father has a lot of family members on his side that come and visit him often. These are his favorite flowers." you said as you showed him a bouquet of baby's breath flowers.

You turned to Jungkook and asked him
"How long will you be gone for?"
Jungkook noticed your sullen expression.

He laughed softly at your cute pouty face as he said "Oh love, this is an important pack meeting. The alpha wants us all to be there, otherwise you know I would rather be next to you. It's only for 2 days." He slowly wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you closer. Your eyes flashed red as your wolf took over and said "Kiss me, now". Jungkook's eyes flashed amber as well as he chuckled and said
"Yes, alpha" as he leaned forwards and kissed you deeply.

~ hours later ~

You were both now in your office. You were busy working and chatting with Jungkook. He thought he would stay with you for a while before having to leave to go to the pack meeting.
You yawned softly, as you felt a bit weary.
"Do you want some coffee?" Jungkook asked as he noticed your tired state.

"Actually yeah I think some coffee would be great." You answered.

Jungkook proceeded to order some coffee when Junho walked in
"Hey captain, there is a guy here that said he had a confidential package he wanted to deliver to you. Normally we send them through a screening process but he says that you ordered it to be directly delivered straight to you??" he said with a confused yet curious tone.

You were caught in surprise. You didn't know what to do.
There was a slight tense in your expression that gave away your nervousness but you were quick to shut it down as you put on boss mode and said
"Yes, I requested for that. Please let him come here directly and I will take it from him." you said.

"Sure captain" Junho said as he let the delivery guy come in.
You started to take the package and sign the necessary papers with the delivery man.

Meanwhile Jungkook turned to Junho and said
"Hey, I ordered coffee for Y/n and I. Could you let them in when they come to the reception's desk?"

"Oh sure, I'll go check if they're there now." Junho said as he left your office.

Moments later, Junho was back in your office delivering the coffee himself.

"Hey captain, ok so here are the documents you asked for from Minho but he's not here today so I was asked to get them instead and here is your coffee. I decided to bring it because the coffee guy seemed lost." Junho said as he chuckled and passed you your coffee and then gave Jungkook his coffee order as well.

~ a while later ~

It was finally time for Jungkook to leave.
He got up from his chair with a gloomy look on his face.
Honestly you were sad too and you didn't want him to leave, but you understood this was an important meeting so you went up to him with an encouraging smile on your face as you said
"Don't be sad, as you said, it's only 2 days. Good luck with the meeting and I hope it goes well. I'll be right here waiting for you. Come back to me as soon as you're done ok?" you said as you hugged him tightly.
Jungkook kissed the top of your head as he inhaled your sweet scent.
"Ofcourse I will. No matter what, I will always come back to you my love." He said as he kissed your nose causing you to giggle slightly.

~ time skip ~

Jungkook had just left your office and was making his way to his car. The streets were crowded so he decided to take a shortcut through the alleyway.

He tried making his way out of the crowd not before accidentally bumping into a guy and almost falling. Thankfully his quick instincts stopped him from falling down and he managed to dodge all the mess and finally get in the alleyway.

However, just as he was about to continue walking he felt a sudden sharp pain in his head.
He felt a wave of dizziness take over his body as his eyes started to get cloudy.

Not a moment later, Jungkook was on the ground after which he saw a figure approaching.
He couldn't make out who the familiar figure was as his eyes slowly faded to black.

Pretty soon he as completely blacked out and the familiar figure picked him up and took him to his black SUV.

"You're going to regret, digging up the past."
The mysterious person said in his low villainous tone.
