𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 10 - 𝑰𝒏 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒍

It was 12 in the afternoon, your eyes opened slowly as you started to feel the sensation of pain spread all over your body.

With your head hung low you tried to overcome the dizziness as you tried to lift your head and move your body only to find out that your hands were tied to the back, and your entire body tied to the chair you were sitting on.

You tried to loosen the grip on your hands but to no avail, as it was bound pretty tight.

Sighing heavily, you looked at your surroundings as you tried to remember how you ended up in the cold empty warehouse.

~ Flashback to an hour earlier ~

Stepping out of the office making your way to the car you hear one of your officers call out to you.

"Captain! Here are the documents you asked from your table." He said as he handed a folder to you.

"Where are you off to?" he continued to ask.

"I've got some evidence to follow up on regarding the warehouse where Jungkook was found. I got a call today from a potential witness. He says that he has some crucial evidence to help the case. It may be nothing but I am not going to risk losing any important information." you said as you skimmed through the papers.

"Do you need anyone to come with you? I can inform the other officers or I can come with you." he asked

You looked up from the documents, not believing he asked you such a question.

"Know who you are talking to officer. If I needed backup I would have asked before I left." you said a bit annoyed.

"Sorry Captain, I just thought that given the recent incidents-" he replied as you interrupted

"Recent incidents have no effect when it comes to my professional work. Head back to the precinct and check the new recruits who are coming in today" you ordered before you made your way to your car.

~ present time - at the warehouse ~

You had just remembered what had happened and were now trying to figure out how to escape the warehouse.

Once again you tried to loosen your hands from the rope that held them together but just as you did, a figure walked out of the shadows.

?? - "There's no point doing that. Even if you undid them, you won't escape this place...alive." said the familiar voice.

There he was, now stood in front of you.
The guy from your past. The only person left from the fire incident years ago.

Looking straight up at him you finally asked him,

"Why? why did you have to go this far? Whatever happened in the past already happened. You didn't have to drag it to the present. We could have all lived our lives and moved on. So why did you do all of this.....to Jungkook, to me & especially M-" you said as you got interrupted

?? - "Because!" he yelled before continuing. "Because of you, your family and Jungkook's father I lost BOTH my parents. Growing up without them by my side was the hardest thing I had to do and it was all because of YOU!!!"

Y/n -"ME!? Am I the one who is a part of the biggest mobs out here in Seoul? Did I just barge into someone's home and just kill them on the spot mercilessly like that huh?! Has it ever hit you that I am going through the exact same thing you are?! If it wasn't for your parents, mine would still be alive right now!"

?? - "Your mother couldn't just surrender the evidence she had against my father. Instead she had to "fight for what's right" and that's what caused this entire thing to happen. So don't tell me that it was my parent's fault because your mother could have easily avoided this."

Y/n - "Look, I'm sorry that both of us had to get caught in this but blaming each other is NOT going to bring either of our parents back. I don't care who's fault it is. All I care about is my family. Those that I have and those that I've lost. I was ready to bring justice to my family but in doing so only more people got hurt because you had to take your revenge. I'm going to END this. ONCE AND FOR ALL. With or without you surrendering. Believe me! I WILL."

?? - "I don't know what sort of delusional world you live in if you think you can "END THIS". Nothing has ever gone well for you. You have no one now. No help. Nobody. You think you have evidence or proof against me that will shut your case. Well think again, I WAS IN CONTROL THE ENTIRE TIME, I KNOW EVERYTHING YOU KNOW and the fact that you're here tied up like this should be enough proof for your stupid brain to understand that I am and always will be, IN CONTROL."

You scoffed at his confidence as you finally looked him straight in the eye and laughed at his face.

Even though it was the first time he ever looked down at you, you held your head up high and with a clear dominant voice you spoke to him like you have always spoken to him.

"My plan may have not gone as I predicted and I may have lost someone close to me, I'm sorry to burst your bubble but you were NEVER in control. If you knew even a fraction of what I know or WHO I AM, you will know that these ropes are a joke. So get off your high horse and accept the fact that you will always live your life with me looking down on you and controlling you. Even though I am lookin up at you right now, know the fact that it was I that led you to bring me here, Officer Junho."
