so I saw this while googling prompts and HELL YES

"No running, climbing, physically incapacitating opponents..." I yawned as I listened to the instructor run through the classic instructions. Not like it made any difference. Everyone ran anyway.

"Alright, everyone get your gear on." I ran towards the rack, grinning as I threw on the sensors and gun. I glanced down at the sensor. Yay! I was on the red team!

"Hey, Chase." I looked over to see Alex, whose sensor was blue.

"Aw, dammit. Okay, but I'll win." I bragged, smiling widely. She floated forwards, her face only an inch from mine.

"Are you sure?" I swallowed, turning away, nodding.

"Alright, everyone! Time to start!" We all gathered in front of the big bay door, waiting anxiously. And then it opened.

Everyone ran in, scouring places to hide. I dashed behind a pillar, moving between hiding spots. Lastly, I ran into a hidden crevice near the wall. Suddenly my sensor lit up, my gun buzzing with energy. I smirked as I slid the part under the shooty part of the gun, reloading it. Time to play.

I slithered between walls, shooting everyone in the way, watching my points go up. And I still had yet to be shot. I ascended the ramp, making my way to a hidden spot, perfect for being a sniper. After taking down everyone within a close radius, I ran to a back wall, trying to catch my breath. I glanced down to my points screen. I was in the lead!

Suddenly, a blue sensor flashed in my the corner of my vision. I shot instantly, pulling myself behind the nearest wall. After the sensor blinked out, they held their hands up in peace.

"Easy, Chase. You've already shot me. I've come to talk." I eyed her suspiciously.

"I saw you were winning. Congrats."

"Oh, uh, tha-" I was interrupted as I was roughly pushed back into the wall, a pair of soft lips on mine. I stiffened, before relaxing. I weaved my hands through her hair, pulling her closer to me. I felt her tongue on the bottom of my lip, asking for permission. I sighed as we reveled in this moment, pure bliss.

Suddenly, a soft pew rang out. I pulled away to see the color of my sensor fading. She smirked, winking to me as she walked off. I sighed, hitting my head against the nearest wall. I looked down at the small points screen. I was in second. Guess who was in first?
