San ran up to hug the middle aged man in a suit as he walked through the front door, his mother soon joining in the hug.
"Welcome, honey." Mrs. Choi said to the man.
He gave her a kiss on her forehead in response before patting San's head "I've missed you both." He said with a smile on his face.
"I missed you too, dad!" San beamed at him.
They broke up the hug allowing Mr. Choi to take a look around. In a archway, hung a banner saying 'Welcome Home' with all of San's friends standing under it. They all bowed ninety degrees, in respect, with smiles on their faces. Well, except Seul who kept a blank expression.
"Wooyoung, Mingi, don't be strangers!" Mr. Choi chuckled with his arms stretched out for a hug, the two boys gladly excepting his invitation. "I don't believe I've met the rest of you?"
After San introduced his dad to the rest of his friends, Mrs. Choi called them to dinner. She had cooked what one could call a 'feast'. As everyone went to sit at the dining table, Mr. Choi pulled his wife aside, whispering to her "Is that the girl you were telling me about?" he asked referring to Xiumin.
Mrs. Choi nodded in conformation. "Hm.. ma boys' got good taste in women." he said. Mrs. Choi hit him in chest with the back of her hand, playfully glaring at him.
.
."So, Xiumin.. I heard you're the daughter of one of the richest Asians in the world right now." Mr. Choi said as the conversation started to die down at the dining table.
Xiumin dropped her chopsticks on the table as she started coughing from the sudden question, Seonghwa patting her back in concern.
Orihime and Seul watched her, worried about how she was going respond to answer the question. The boys stared at her with wide eyes.
"I knew you were rich but I didn't know you were RICH RICH." Jongho spoke, the surprise written all over his face and voice.
"I'm not rich, my parents are." Xiumin said quietly.
"Doesn't that still make you rich?" Yeosang asked, his voice unintentionally coming out harsh. Seul glares at him, telling him to 'shut up'.
Noticing the tense aura surrounding the three girls, Mrs. Choi chuckled awkwardly "How about we all talk about something different?"
"No." Mr. Choi objected. He turned to Xiumin "Do you think I could meet them? You should be able to set that up, right?"
"Sir, I really think th-" Seonghwa started, trying to end the conversation knowing that this was a sensitive topic for Xiumin.
"I was talking to the girl, wasn't I?" Mr. Choi interrupted. "You should really speak when spoken to. Did your parents never teach you proper manners? Even with all that money they have?"
Xiumin hung her head, bitting her lip as tears threatened to fall from her eyes. "You'd have an easier time reaching them than me. If you even manage to get a text out of them, please let me know."
With that, she stood from her seat, bowing to San's parents before quickly leaving out the front door.
