"So can we meet up?" San repeated.

"Umm.." Xiumin pondered, not knowing what to do.

She was meant to hang out with Wooyoung right now-- he was already waiting for her, but now San had asked to see her. Thinking for a few seconds, leaving an impatient and nervous San on the line quietly, she decided to decline him. She couldn't just leave Wooyoung hanging.

"I'm sorry," she responded "I'm already meeting up with Wooyoung right now. Maybe we can meet tomorrow?"

"It's fine..." San lied through his teeth. Wooyoung again? Why is he always ruining things for San?

.
.

Wooyoung sat on the plush, green grass staring up at the peaceful sky, passing time by trying to make out shapes within the clouds. A grin pulled at his lips as he felt giddy just waiting for Xiumin to show up. His feet rocked back and fourth as he sat-- his only way of letting out his excitement.

He heard shuffling beside him, making him turn his gaze. A huge smile made its way to his face as he looked at her. Xiumin was next to him, squating, trying to look at him as her eyes were forced into a squint by the beaming sun.

"Why the hell we'd have to come out here?" She asked with a clenched jaw as she tried to glare at the sun, only to feel as if her eyes were being fried.

Wooyoung chuckled at her and covered her eyes with one of his hands "You're such a baby. Is that better?"

She nodded happily with a childish smile before taking a seat next to him, facing the opposite way in order to avoid the sun.

The sun reflected off of her beautifully in that moment. Wooyoung wished he had a camera in order for the image to remain a memory of his forever, but he could never afford a camera adequate enough to fully capture her beauty.

"You look gorgeous, Min." He said breathlessly.

"Do I?" She asked as she took out her phone to have a look for herself "Oh~" she exclaimed in happiness as she took a few pictures, showing them to Wooyoung. She smirked at the boy, giving him a teasing look "You really have taste Wooyoung-ah!"

Well... he stood corrected. She looked beautiful no matter what camera was used.

"Of course I have taste. I love you, don't I?" He said smugly. This wasn't how he meant to tell her, but eh. Life's too short to plan shit out.

"Exactly!" She agreed, giving him a highfive. "Wait," she said as she actually took time to think about what he had said "what??"

Wooyoung smiled sheepishly as he rubbed at the back of his neck, starting to feel a little shy "You aren't gonna make me say it again are you?"

He looked over to her, seeing her struggling to keep in her mischievous grin "Say what again? I didn't hear you the first time."

He sighed with a grin "I love you Min."

"Oh," she nodded her head, turning her gaze from him to the almost empty field in front of her "that's good."

The hell was that supposed to mean? Now she was just trying to get on his nerves.

He flicked her head with his fingers "That's it? That's all you have to say?!"

Xiumin glared at him, making him cower back while muttering a 'sorry'. "I was gonna say 'I love you too' but you don't deserve it now!" She scolded with a huff, crossing her arms.

Wooyoung immediately engulfed her with a hug, making the two of them fall to the ground. He attacked her cheeks with small kisses, listing every reason he loved her with each one.

Xiumin pushed him while giggling and placed a quick kiss on one of his cheeks. "That's all? After everything I just gave you?" He asked with a pout.

She gave his other cheek a kiss, holding it a little longer. "Is that good?"

The boy shook his head childishly and pointed to his lip, closing his eyes and puckering them, waiting for her to give him what he wanted.

Xiumin laughed at his cuteness and playfully pushed his shoulder. She laid down on the grass, using his thigh as a pillow. She closed her eyes and hummed to her favorite song at the moment (vav's poison listen to it lol), feeling content with everything as it stood.

Wooyoung listened to her, admiring her voice though he couldn't it hear it fully, and watched her intently. She looked so peaceful and it felt like his hectic life came to a calming pause. With his index finger, he traced her face; her nose, her cheeks, her jawline, her lips, her eyes.

He wouldn't mind waking up to see her everyday. In fact, he'd absolutely adore it.
