Tobias POV

After the invasion I realized Tris was right, and that I was selfish. I thought she just had a clouded judgement but it turns out it was my love for her. After the next invasion was over I found Caleb. He told me how Tris went to the weapons lab and let him go. I was furious but also desperate to find her. I sprinted down to the weapons lab and found Tris. With her mother?

"Tris? Natalie?"I asked."Tobias!"Tris said she sprinted up to me and started kissing me, forgetting her mom was there."Um am I interrupting something?"Natalie said.

We then split up. Natalie was smiling."So no offense but how are you here Natalie? Tris told me you died saving her?"I asked."Yes that's exactly what I want to know?"Tris said eyeing her mother.

"Okay you deserve the truth. Since I'm genetically pure which means my genes are almost 100% healed, (I winced in pain when she said healed genes) and I lived here, when I technically died. David came and gave me treatment. About a minute after you left Beatrice. I then healed and came back here, in secret nobody knowing I was here except David. Then he told me you were here, letting me spy on you by the cameras.(Tobias shuddered remembering the Bureau is always watching them) Then when he started hurting you I came to help you now being here."Natalie explained.

After David died Natalie decided she would take over the compound. Then Tris and I continued dating. I asked her mother for permission, to ask her daughters hand in marriage. She smiled giving me her blessing. I took Tris on a date one night."Tobias where are we going?"Tris was nagging at me.

"Now it won't be a surprise if you know?"I told her. I opened her eyes, and had her look out it was my old bedroom. Where we first kissed. Tris' mouth was wide open."Tobias why are we here? Why aren't we at the compound?

"I held my finger up to her mouth shushing her."I know but your mom gave me permission, to take you here."I explained."Well since we're on a date I wanted to do something extra special."I said. I then pulled out a ring and kneeled down. Tris gasped astonished.

"Beatrice Prior will you do the honor of marrying me?"I asked with a desperate look in my eye."Tobias Eaton I have loved you ever since I came to Dauntless. Till now I realize that my love for you is stronger than before! So YES I WILL MARRY YOU!Tris exclaimed. I was never so happy in my life.

I stood up and kissed her! Then I put the ring on her finger, and kissed her even more!
