It has been two days since our little fore play. He didn't push any farther than I wanted and I admired that about him- he knew his boundaries. At the moment I was laying in bed- hugging his large dress shirt to my body. He has been at a meeting all morning, only leaving me a note stating:

Morning darling,
I'm sorry to let you wake up to a empty and cold bed, I was required in a meeting about some trespassers onto our land. Fortunately, we have caught them and they have been given their punishment. I came back later on and find you, my angel, still asleep. I deeply miss your presence beside me. My heart yearns for you my love. When you wake, please meet me in the library.

His signature was written in neat penscript that reminded me of elegance and divinity. Abiding by his plead, I picked out a large sweater and some kakis to wear before making my way to the bathroom.

I exhaled the air from my lungs out into the fresh air. I was making my way towards the big library doors , which was on the same property but different section from the living quarters. I look up to see two angels flying while talking about the latest gossip about Divine 101 news, which is the international news from up above. "-m going to ask him tomorrow." I suddenly heard sparking up the curiosity within me. Subconsciously I concentrated on the conversation closely. "Why tomorrow Masamune?" The voice was familiar to me, yet I couldn't put my tongue on the specific person. "Tomorrow was when I fell in love with him officially.." I blushed completely before continuing to listen intently. "Well do you have the ring?" Silence was the only thing Ritsu heard before he heard light shuffling. "I think the ring is simple yet nice- quite like the receiver." A deep base chuckle shook Ritsu's core. Quickly deciding this was the correct time to knock, he convinced his own arm to lift and tap on the first office door in the library. "Who is it?" He wasn't sure how to respond, should he say it quickly and cause suspicion or say it shakily? "R-ritsu. I found your note so I thought I'd come." He received a smile from Masamune and , who he found out to be Yokozawa in the room. "I will take my leave Masamune- we will discuss the situation at a later date." The man received a positive nod from Masamune. "Ritsu, I was thinking of your lovely being this morning and thought that you would like to speak with you on certain matters." My face was probably as pale as freshly made cotton sheets. "Are you alright?"

A nod was his only answer. Accompanied with my shy smile.

I was starting to think that I could spend forever with him.

The next morning ~
Masamune's point of view
I woke early that morning, not that I could sleep in the first place. Today was the day- I will ask my beloved to be mine. The ring I had chosen- in my opinion- was the perfect choice. It was a ring with two hands holding a heart with a crown atop it. The hands gave reference to our friendship, the heart -obviously- represented to our love, and the crown represents my loyalty to him. It was not flashy nor was it too simple. I think it fit him well for no diamond could outshine his beauty and dim his glow.

I shuffled out of bed, careful not to wake the literal sleeping angel in it. Opening the door, I was faced with the two guards watching over my room. They were smiling at me- most places don't allow this closeness between guard and the guarded but we were all family so they knew of my engagement plans today. One of the guards brought out some baby pinkish rose petals in a head sized glass jar from behind the corner and the other gave me a towel and pushed me towards the other bathing quarters even though I had my own. Before I could enter they flashed me a thumbs up and quietly ran into my room- faintly I heard the click of a lock. Time to shower.

Walking out of the quarters in my fancy attire I saw the guards smiling at me. "We've set up rose petals leading from the bedroom to the library Takano. Oh I remember when you were just a boy, I was 12 when you were 6. Such a nice lad ye were. Still is matter of fact." I nodded smiling excitedly. "Indeed. If my beloved accepts this proposal, you both will be invited to our wedding." The older man of 6 years laughed at me. "You mean WHEN he accepts." I mentally replied 'hopefully.' He chuckled once more before pushing me in the direction of the library. "Good luck Masamune."

Ritsu's Point of View
Opening my sleepy eyes I flinched at the bright sun rays burning my eyes. "Ugh.." I groaned and opened my eyes once more. The sight that was presented to my eyes sent my tear ducts warming with pre-tears. "Oh." I whimpered. Baby pink rose petals littered the bed and led towards the closed doors. The conversation from yesterday between Yokozawa and Masamune then hit me. He was going to propose! I glanced at the bathroom connected to the room to see a outfit within a suit cover bag. Walking over to it, I looked at the chosen outfit and cooed at the amazing quality. I have decided to put this on after my shower.

I glanced at my reflection in awe. The clothing consisted of loose skinny khakis, a white dress shirt with a green and black striped tie, and a simple but formal gray V-line sweater. After deciding that I looked good enough and smelled nice enough I opened the bathroom door and follow the petals that seemed to be leading me through the door. Opening the wall doors and slipping out, I glanced at the tense and shifting guards. "Are you two alright?" The two guards flinched at the sound of my voice. "Y-yes R-ritsu-san." I nodded and flashed them a smile before continuing to follow the Rose Petal path. When I near the elevator, a sign told me to go down- or more like a down arrow. Butterflies came racing through me as I stepped in and pressed the down arrow.

When the elevator doors open, different color rose petals were leading me this time, the rose petals were a beautiful red. Struggling not to coo and adore the Rose petals I continued the path of Rose petals to the library doors. Inside was Masamune in a suit, standing in the middle of the whole library. He stood under an arch of many different Roses. I covered my mouth afraid that I would let out a sob, this was so beautiful. I walked up to him, ignoring the petals now that I know where I was headed.

"Hi," I whispered as I approached him. "Hey. You look dashing," I blushed rivaling the color of a tomato.

He bent down on one knee and looked up at me almost making my heart jump up my throat. I watched as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a square black box. Tears were slowly running down my face, this was the highlight of my year- I've finally found my soul and here we are. "Onodera Ritsu," he said loudly making every occupant in the library look at us in excitement and wonder. "Today was the day I fell in love with every aspect of you," The many people in the room walked over and surrounded us and some even 'awe'd. "Although I thought I was falling in love with Oda Ritsu. Today, you are still the same persona I fell in love with then. Ritsu you are my soul! I love every piece of you." Tears were coming from my eyes automatically at his speech. Even some of the girls were crying along with me.

"Your scars and your past, I'll take them all- if you will have me. I've spent years thinking that i would never find you, but here I am- still in love with you. And I'm hoping you love me to. This ring, let the arms carved into this ring represent my friendship, the heart represent my love, and the crown represent my loyalty to you." a sob escaped my throat and I nodded through my tears. "Onodera Ritsu, would you be willing to have me? Forever?" I stared into his beautiful hazel eyes and nodded.

"Yes." I whispered.
