With You

Part 1

Flashback:

"I really did love you!"

" Then tell me why she was all over you! "

He held her hands.

"Your not going to leave me... are you?"

She shoved him away.

"Go away! I heard her say your name! I heard you say you wanted her!"

He yelled frustrated.

"Give me a chance! I love you!"

Tears threaten  to fall but she couldn't let the tears fall..... so she left the room instead.

"If you won't leave, I will!"

She tied her hair up in a bun, and put her apron on. Turning the closed sign around to say open. She waited for customers to come, she closed her eyes feeling tired from all the studying last night. Then she heard a ding, and quickly went to the cash register.

"Hello, what would you like??"

The woman smiled at her.

"French Vanilla"

"That'll be $2.50"

5pm

She sighed. And closed up the cafe. They closed early on Saturday's. She locked the cafe and took a walk around. She had an hour before she had to go study at home....She stopped at the bridge, and breathed out, closed her eyes, She thought of all the things she'd experienced in her life.

"I'm home!"

"Yana! Where were you!?"

"I took a walk..."

Yana took her shoes off, and looked at her aunt. "Go clean up the kitchen, and bring your cousin his food upstairs." She nodded. And then began to walk to the kitchen, Yana stopped. "Also, come straight home after school tomorrow. No one's watching the cafe." Yana couldn't get to answer after her aunt walked up the stairs to her room.

Yana knocked on her cousins door.

"Come in!"

Yana opened the door and placed her cousin's tray of food on the bedside table. She was curious as to what he was doing on his phone.

"What are you doing?"

He looked up at Yana, and smiled. "Nothing important, are you ok?" Yana gave him a small nod and smile back. At least she knew she had him to stay with her through thick and thin. He was a year older. "Come lay down beside me." Yana shook her head. "Your mom wouldn't like that." He didn't reply. "uh Jamie?" " Yeah?" He looked at her. "I'll go study for my classes on Monday...see ya" She waved, and he waved back.

Sunday 7am

Yana woke up early to open up the cafe, she was super tired from all the studying last night. But, there was nothing she could do about it.

8pm

She went to the park after working at the cafe, it was her safe place. Where she felt completely at peace with her thoughts. She cried silently recalling the events as to why she now lives with her cousin. She looked up to the moon, realizing once again what her mom meant.

Flashback

"Yana! Mommy loves you ok. If you ever feel alone, just look up at the sun and when its night the moon."

Yana's tears streamed down her face.

"What about dad? Where is he?"

Her mother hugged her tightly, then her father came into the house and hugged both of them.

"I love you Yana. Be strong for me ok."

Then suddenly they both left. She was left in her house with no one. A 6 year old..... left alone.... and then the next thing she knew, her parents were dead.
