"YANA!!"

"J-Jamie..."

My eyes blurred with tears as I knew I might die here. M-my eyes are closing... I don't want them to close.... what about Terrance.. Yungso.... Jamie.... and Auntie...

"Don't close your eyes! You'll live! We promised to stay together!" I felt Jamie's tears fall on to me, I reached out to touch his cheek, and possibly wipe his tears, but it fell limp on the ground. I wanted to say "Jamie, thank you" but my throat was full of blood..Jamie held my hand. Then I thought maybe my parents are calling me to be with them already. Maybe it's my time.. Auntie and Jamie will live better lives without me.. I'll no longer be a burden to everyone around me... The thoughts I had, when I first wanted to fall off that bridge came rushing back to me.

Then my head hit the floor..... Jamie..... dropped my head... I shakily lifted my hand to my head, and felt blood. The next thing I knew, I blacked out.

"Kang Yana!"

Jamie's mom yelled at the receptionist. "I'm sorry, there's no one registered under that name, at the moment."

"Yana.... we're almost there, don't worry." Jamie held her hand.

"CARDIAC ARREST!"

Jamie's mom turned around, she stopped, tears ran down her face as she saw Jamie running after Yana being brought to immediate care. She had a cardiac arrest, right when coming out of the ambulance.

"YANA!"

His mom ran after him, Jamie was immediately engulfed in a hug as he cried. "Everything will be alright. Yana will live." For the first time, Jamie saw the worries in his mom's eyes for Yana. He knew his mom cared for her, she just wasn't willing to show it.

"JAMIE!" Jamie turned around and saw both Terrance and Yungso run to him. "What happened?" "Yana's in there..." Jamie tapped his foot. It was a habit he did whenever he felt uneasy. Terrance closed his eyes and took a seat infront of the operation room. "She'll live... won't she?" Jamie gulped. "I hope so." Suddenly Terrance heard an angry voice. Jamie and Yungso stayed there in shock.

"YOU! ITS YOUR FAULT YANA'S IN THERE!" Terrance sighed and Jamie said "How is it his fault?" His mom yelled at them "I'm not oblivious to what's going on in my nieces life. You hurt Yana so many times! And you had to show your face in front of my niece again!" Terrance gulped at the elder. " I'm sorry" Then his mom said "Once Yana is ok. She is leaving this place, I don't want to see these people in her life again!" Jamie gasped. "Mom! This isn't right! Besides what about the cafe?!" His mom sighed. "We can always move locations... or I'll have to stay, and move you both away..."

3 weeks later

"Yana, you ready? This is gonna be a long ride.." Yana nodded and looked out the car window and saw a guy standing near the house. As the car started, Yana said "wait. Jamie who's that?" Jamie looks out the window. "My mom?" "No... I mean that guy.." Jamie saw him and gulped. He wanted to say who it was but his mom wouldn't be happy if he did... "No one important." Then they drove off. Yana's aunt and Yungso waving at them, with a sad smile.
