Wednesday 7:50pm

Jamie went upstairs, when he made sure Yana was asleep. He saw his mom using her phone on the couch, and walked up the stairs. "Wait!" He turned around and looked at his mom. "There's Yana's medicine on the table. She never came up to get it. And please go eat dinner after" Jamie nodded, and went back down to bring Yana her medicine.

He opened the door silently, and placed the medicine on her bedside table with a note. He frowned.

Take this with water when you wake up.- Jamie

Wednesday 9pm

Yana woke up, she unlocked her phone and looked at the date, she sighed ignoring the medicine on her table. Everyone forgot her birthday..... even Jamie and Yungso. Her tears began to fall again.

Not caring about her family upstairs, she quickly put on a hoodie and slipped on her shoes, she ran to the park. There she encountered someone she never wanted to see again. She turned around and ran to the bridge, her mental state worsening. She didn't notice someone was following her. She screamed and stomped her feet against the railing of the bridge. "I'M TIRED! I TRIED LIVING MY LIFE! BUT I'M SO TIRED!" Her knees began to feel weak, she held on to the railing while falling to her knees. She kept yelling.

She ran away before I could stop her.....before she came I was staying at the park hoping to feel calmer, I learnt to treat the park as my safe place because of someone... When I saw someone familiar run away, I followed after her. I stayed a few meters behind her and watched her lean against the bridge railing.... crying.. She reminded me of someone.

Yana let go of the railing. She stayed on her knees but covered her face, she couldn't let the world see her cry. Suddenly arms wrapped around her and her head was brought to someone's chest. She looked up, not being able to see because of the tears blocking her vision. "H-huh? W-who?" The person put her head back on their chest and said "Just cry." Her heart stopped. She recognized the voice, that same voice that made her feel better years ago. Not caring about how much she hated him, She cried in his arms. "I'm sorry, I hurt you. I recognize you..."

"Are you tired? I'll carry you..." Yana just stayed slient as he held her hand, bringing her somewhere. "You can talk right?" Yana's tears fell again. He stopped walking and looked at Yana. "Why are you crying again?" Yana just shook her head and wiped the tears. She was crying because he brought back memories of happiness, she didn't want to remember. She took a deep breath. "Terrance.... I...." She couldn't talk... she was exhausted and hungry.. Terrance hugged her again. "Your tired.. I'll carry you" "No- what?" She couldn't finish when he forcefully got her on his back. "Don't be stubborn." She nodded in defeat and laid her head down on his back.

He put her down when they got infront of a convenience store. He pulled out a seat for her and said "Sit here and wait." She nodded. And he walked into the store. She looked at the moon, and said "Happy birthday to me....Mom I miss you..." quietly. She looked down to her toes, and up, she saw him taking something out of the bag. "I remember you ate this but didn't know whether you liked this before or not... and I figured you hadn't eaten dinner yet." He handed Yana a panda shaped cookie box, and instant noodles which he cooked in the microwave before going out of the store. She found the things she liked in her soup in it. "Thank you." Terrance smiled at her and she just breathed and ate. "Also..." She looked up raising an eyebrow. "It's your birthday...isn't it?" "Yea.." Yana looked down. "Hey, look at me." She looked up again and he handed her the promise ring he gave her years ago, the one Yana gave back to him when they broke up.  "Happy Birthday."

Thrusday 8am

"Yana, you can go back to sleep. I told your professor you aren't going to school today. A-" Yana sighed. "What about the cafe?" Jamie looked at her. "You didn't let me finish. I'm gonna take over your shift for today. Just rest." Yana looked over at her auntie. "Just do what he says." Yana nodded. "Thank you." And walked back down to her room.
