Part 11

"STOP FOLLOWING ME!"

Terrance grabbed her hand, and panted. She ran all the way to the bridge again. "I'm sorry." Yana got twirled around into a hug. She tried to push out of the hug but failed. "Do you really not love me anymore?" Yana just cried. She was speechless. Terrance let go of her when he didn't get an answer, they stared at each other for a long while, only the sound of Yana's cries were heard. Then she spoke "I-I.... still love you. I miss you. I want you. I just...." She stopped. "You just what?" Yana cried harder as she said "I want to fall in love again... but never again with you. I'm sorry." Terrance looked at her hands, shivering cold and wet from the rain, and there was the ring on her finger. Yana noticed him looking at it and harshly ripped it off her finger. "I want to be able to keep this but I can't knowing it'll hurt me even more." She held his hand, her hand still shivering and placed the ring on his palm. "let's stop this. Whether you like it or not. I rather be sad without you comforting me again. I'm just a burden to you anyways." Yana walked off, then stopped. "Don't follow me again." She continued to walk to the cafe. Then she got a text.

"I'll meet you in the cafe after your shift."

It was Yungso. She put her hoodie on and cried. Then the rain suddenly stopped. She looked up, and Jamie was standing there with an umbrella over them. "Jamie?" She hugged him and cried. "Cry it all out. I'm here for you ok?"

Jamie ended up driving Yana to the cafe because he didn't trust Yana not to throw herself off a bridge.

Monday 3pm

"Yungie, did you let him come to me?" She said as she served him a drink. He nodded. "Why?" Yungso sipped his drink. "Because I know, if I didn't let him, you wouldn't have been able to get your feelings out again." Yana went to make another drink for the other customers, after serving it. She said "Do you want me to give him a second chance?" "Not if you don't want to." Yana sighed. "but Yungso...he cheated on me multiple times, I don't want to give him another chance to hurt me." Yungso then said "Don't worry too much. Anyways what will you do about the project? You'll still have to talk to him.." Yana pursed her lips. "There's no getting out of that. I'll talk to him when I have to alright?" Yungso nodded.

Monday 9:30pm

Yana laid back on her chair, stretching. Then she heard the door creaked open. "Jamie?" She laid her head on her desk, not turning to look at whoever was behind her. "Jamie's upstairs sleeping. Did you take your medicine?" Yana turned around surprised, her aunt never comes down unless it's to yell at her. "Kang Yana?" Her aunt said impatiently. Yana went blank for a moment and said "Oh yea. I took it." Then her aunt gulped and said "Go eat dinner upstairs." Yana nodded and her aunt left.
