As the busy streets of Bridgeport had been jam packed for the hot weekend shopping deals there were many tourist attractions bringing in new and interesting people everyday.

Men, women, children. All of which love Bridgeport for many reasons, all of which citizens of Bridgeport are proud of. The most amazing and popular out of all is their insane amount of shops and restaurants downtown with many hotels and arenas for concerts to be held as well as theatrical attractions for mythical plays and fantastic shows.

There is also the greatly known college school. University of Bridgeport. Thousands of applicants a year, only hundreds make it. Many young adults begin their journey of developing their future here in Bridgeport, and it's a wonderful city to do so.

Apartments are vacant and ready to be leased as well as college dorm rooms ready and dormant. The fresh crisp air on this fall morning circulates throughout the air all in Bridgeport, and all the chaos comes to an end when the birds sing. Thousands of cars flood the streets soon after dawn breaks and the sun starts to rise, making the colors of the sky alternate from a pale grayish blue to a pinkish red. All the colors combining is one of the many beautiful sights here in Bridgeport, CT.

Today was the first day of the fall semester for Bridgeport University's college students, and it was also Scarlett Harrison's first day as a freshman at BU.

Her sleek white Toyota was parked towards the library side. Her soft hands grabbed her books from her backseat and before leaving her car she strapped her book bag around her shoulder.

Her long legs covered by tight black jeans carried her into the building as she clung to her coat and books. Her curled black hair was combed out and romantically bounced down her shoulders and cascaded down her body.

The air was frigid as her cheeks and nose began to turn a light pink as she nearly tripped over her own two feet as she held the door open for a tall handsome male.

Her lips pulled into a smile as her brown eyes laid on the broad tall male who locked eyes with her as she clumsily almost fell. She nervously chuckled and held her books tighter to her chest as she caught him smirking and pulling at the black ring that went through his lip. She caught herself staring at him and quietly apologized, carrying her legs quickly down the hall to freshman headquarters.

By the looks of it he couldn't have been a freshmen, unless he waited a while to attend college. As she went out her day she found herself wondering what his name was and if she'd ever run into him again. She almost found herself blushing at the guessing question of if he thought she was appealing as she did him.

Once the first day was over she walked out to her car in the same tight jeans and cream knit sweater, with her hair still wavy and bouncy, her arms holding her books to her chest.

Her first day was everything she had hoped it had been and more. Oh how Scarlett was going to enjoy it here in Bridgeport.

She had went back to her apartment in which she had noticed that the things her father sent from home in Boston were sitting in multiple boxes by her front door with a note attached that she presumed to be her fathers hand writing. Her face suddenly lit up and she rushed down the hallway to her door nearly bumping into someone.

She apologized over her shoulder not bothering to take a second glance at who the stranger was to look at the note her father sent. She ripped the note off the box and held it with her shaky hands, bringing it to eye level, her brown eyes scanning over the ink laid words that are her only sign of home and comfort.

Hey sweetie, here is the rest of your stuff. Should be there by your first day. How's everything going in Conneticut? Do you like it there? I don't want to take too much of your precious time because I imagine you've already made dozens of friends from your classes, so I'll get to you later. Love and miss you heaps. Call me when you can.
-Dad :)

Her heart skipped a beat and her eyes were full of happy tears though to her dismay she didn't release them. She bit her lip and smiled stuffing the note into her coat pocket and picking up her books. She stood in front of her door while rooting through her purse for her keys. She opened the door seconds later and pushed the few boxes from the hallway into her bare home and shut the door with her foot.

After hours of memories flooding her brain, and of furniture and accessories being placed throughout her place she stood back and admired her space.

The cream walls were accented with white christmas lights that highlighted every wall almost replacing crown molding, as the white couch had fuzzy blankets that smelled like home laying off the edges. The tv stand was now complete with candles and bins full of her favorite dvds. Her dining room was polished with a cheery wood table with four chairs surrounding it with a simple center piece containing a candle and a tray of miscellaneous items such as beads that were all white colored. her bedroom was perfected with her bed sheets from home along with her pillows she used to sleep on every night. Photos of her and her father are littered all over her room practically covering her walls just by a single thumb tack.

She smiled as she had sat down at 9pm on her couch with her comfortable robe tied across her body and a cup of hot chocolate in her hand as she cuddled up in her fuzzy blankets for the newest episode of The Vampire Diaries. She was lucky she got the cable guy in along with the internet guy and other necessities in while she could.

Once it was finished she could feel her limbs begin to heavy and she cleaned up her dishes quickly starting the washer and heading to bed.

The next few weeks had gone by in a flash and she had the whole semester planned out, as it seemed in her naive eyes. She had finished curling her hair for the 40th time in these last few months after showering and making a cup of coffee.

College life was already so much easier than High school ever was and she's completely grateful for that. She felt free to her dismay here in Bridgeport, and that is something she could never get enough of in Boston. She was glad to get our of Boston while she could, even if it meant leaving her father.

It's not like she'd see him more often if she had stayed, he worked constantly seeing as if Boston needed their best lawyer 24/7. She was happy for him though, and she knew he was happy for her.

All seemed to be going well when she got to campus early that morning until she heard a few young men shouting profanities at each other like a couple of monkeys.
