Jay and I talked for a good hour. For the first time, I talked about my parents since the 'accident' and he listened, which was nice.
He talked about his love for nature, and things. I happily listened, walking along.
We had walked in a massive circle and had landed back where we started, the lake.
I looked around, curiously. Blue lights dances ear the waters edge.
"There, do you see them!?" I pointed a finger towards the edge of the water.
He turned slowly, and before he could get a look at them, they scurried away.
"Dammit" I sighed. What were they!?
He didn't look curious, is fact he looked a bit annoyed, not at me, but in general.
"Don't worry about then, they're just a play on light, from the sun" He tried to explain it to me in some scientific term, but I knew very well that that just wasn't it.

At lunch, Aunt Hazel was absent again, so I again got to eat in peace without having to practise my 'manners', this was a relief as I didn't think I could handle it anymore.
Bella poured me a cup of water.
"We musn't venture off to far Miss, we musn't" She insisted after I told her about the gardens.
"Why?" I looked up at her, she went red as always.
"We musn't disobey Madam Hazel Miss, we musn't" She hurried away back to the kitchen, weird….
I finished my meal of chicken and got up and walked around, hoping to see Chira, or even Clara.
Just a bit of 'out of the ordinary' would be fine.
I instead, came across Aunt Hazel's room, which I had never been in.
I seized the opportunity and opened the door a tiny fraction, hoping she was asleep.
Instead, when I opened the door, it was completely empty.
The bed was neatly made and nothing seemed out of place.
I opened the door wider to get a better view.
No, no one was in here.
"Weird" I said. If she was sick, shouldn't she be resting up?
I closed the door and started to walk but somehow, I managed to scratch my neck, and I felt the warm liquid trickle down my neck. I cursed and started to walk to the kitchen, but came nose-to-nose with Jay.
"What are you doing Miss?" He seem unruffled by the sudden, nose-to-nose business….
"Uhm, nothing" I said, blushing. He then had me up against the wall, not touching me, yet I could not escape. Both his hands were either side of my head and he studied me carefully.
"You really shouldn't go creeping about like that, it's dangerous" he said, licking his lips.
"What are you talking about?" I looked at him. His eyes weren't the usual lovely deep brown, instead, they were glowing red.
His eyes scared me to no end. He leaned in, pushing my chin up, making my head stretch up. He traced his finger down my neck. I then shoved him as hard as I could, this was way too weird!
But instead, he didn't even move.
It was like trying to push a cement wall, it just wasn't going to move.
He chuckled darkly. I was afraid, I was very afraid.
He had never acted like this before!
He then leaned down, and bit into my neck!
The pain seared through my body, making me gasp.
The pain was almost unbearable, I could feel him draining the blood from my body, one gulp at a time. I went tense. I couldn't believe what was happening to me!
Was this some kind of sick joke!?
He's acting like a...like a….vampire.
Don't be stupid! I thought, vampire aren't real!
I tried to reason with myself, but came to the conclusion that from what has happened in the last few days, anything could be possible in this house.
"Jay...s-stop!" I managed to say, he was draining me, I could feel my consciousness ebbing away. He stopped, his head lolling forward. I got an impression of brown eyes.
He was normal again.
"I-I'm so sorry Elvira!" He stood back, letting me go, covering his mouth with his won hand in the process.
He looked so frightened, and I fell to my knees. I couldn't believe what had just happened!
"What the hell is going on!? Did you just bite me??" I demanded. He looked extremely apologetic.
"I-I can explain" He urged.
"You'd better, and make it quick!" I snapped, putting my hand to my neck.
In the next ten minutes, he explained how he's the son of a vampire.
His dad was a vampire, and his mother was, well, a normal woman.
And that would make Jay half a vampire, half a human.
It had turned out his mother then refused to bring Jay up, abandoning him at an orphanage until the age of 9, when My Aunt Hazel had saved him from this extremely poverty stricken orphanage and kept him, he was forever grateful, so he willingly agreed to be her butler.
And when ever he smelt blood, he was overcome by vampire instincts.
I then realised when I had scratched my neck, It must have bled enough for him to smell it from the kitchen.
"I am honestly, very sorry" He apologised many times.
"I'll forgive you if you tell me what those blue sparkling lights were" I tried my luck with this deal.
"Okay, Okay" He held his hands up in defence.
"They were water fairies" He explained. I hit his arm.
"Don't insult me, what were they really!?" I growled.
"No, they really were water fairies" He insisted.
He reached a hand around his neck and produced a blue long whistle and blew into it. No sound what soever came out. I stared at him blankly.
"Wait for it" He rolled his eyes. Soon a blue light lurched towards us from the hallway, and when it came into view, it had tattered blue wings, a light short blue dress, black boots that went up to her small knees, her dark blue hair was messy and went down to her waist, her skin was as pale as the moon and most shockingly, she was the size of my hand!
She ducked behind Jay.
"It's okay" He put his hands into his pockets. The fairy slowly came out from behind Jay. She smiled cheekily.
"Hi! I'm Drip!" She introduced her. She offered her miniscule hand to shake mine, so I let her shake the end of my finger.
"H-hi, I'm Elvira Masen" I said back, Drip gasped.
"You, are Elvira??" She inquired.
"U-um, yes" I nodded. She stared at me in awe, but I hadn't had the slightest idea why. Drip then looked at my neck, and then to Jay with a disapproving look.
He looked extremely guilty.
"Sorry for Jay biting you" She offered.
"No, no it's okay" I insisted. I laughed nervously. This was definitely a weird day.
"So, can you use your powers-?" Jay cut her off by grabbing her and trapping her into his hands.
"That's enough Drip" He snapped. I was taken aback.
"Powers?" I questioned. He hushed me.
"Shh, do not probe further" He ordered. I kept quiet.
"You will learn everything in due time" He clarified.
My head was spinning from all of this new knowledge.
