𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙎𝙞𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙣: "Thanksgiving."
Ricky and I arrived at Ashlyn's house about ten minutes ago and Carlos insisted we all play his High School Musical themed game.
"Okay, okay. Guys!" Carlos announced.
"There are four basic categories. The Getcha Head in the Frame Trivia challenge, the Bop Till You Drop Dance challenge, Sync to the Status Quo Lip Sync challenge, and Looking for Glee...which I thought would be a fun name for the singing challenge because when I was a kid, I was obsessed with the show." He beamed. We all laughed.
"Hey it still holds up." EJ said.
"Oh, good. I though you guys were gonna judge me." Carlos laughed.
"Never." I smiled.
"Okay, so Knights, you won the coin toss, so you guys get to pick the first challenge."
The Knights consisted of Ricky, Big Red, Gina, myself and Ashlyn.
"Looking for Glee." Big Red suggested.
"We've gotta do Looking for Glee." Ricky said.
"Okay, we're gonna look for Glee." Ashlyn chuckled.
"Excellent." Carlos grinned. He then cleared his throat and read the card in his hand aloud. "As fast as you can, please sing the lyrics to What I've Been Looking For to the rhythm of Getcha Head in the Game."
We all shouted over the top of each other trying to discuss what rhythm went where and which lines were what, until Big Red and Ashlyn started to get somewhere.
"I couldn't see, that you were always, always, always, right beside me." They sang.
"Thought I was alone with no one to hold, but you were always, always, always right beside me!" We all sang.
"Getcha head in the game!" Ricky finished. "Let's go! Whoo!"
It was then that I burst out laughing.
"That was terrible." EJ laughed.
"I'm so happy." Seb said.
"Sammy are you okay?" Big Red laughed.
I nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. EJ's right, that was terrible."
I let out an even bigger laugh, and the rest of my team joined in.
"Congratulations, you to get to move four spaces closer to center stage at East High." Carlos told us.
