Patton's POV

he doesn't remember me...... and what does he mean that he doesn't have... or need friends... everyone needs friends! I follow after him, keeping distance, and a lot of it. He walks straight to his room, I sit down with the other two

"what's up with emo nightmare?" the guy in red and gold asks

"uh... I don't know" I sigh, "anyways, I don't think we have met!" I said to the guy in gold and red.

"My name" He does a weird hand motion, that was very dramatic "Is Roman"

"Nice to meet you, Roman! Im Patton!" I smile at him, holding out a hand for him to shake. He shakes my hand and we end up talking till the bell rings. This signals us to go home and pack up so we can move in fully to our dorm.

I head home to my family, knowing how heartbroken my mom will be that im moving into a dorm four years early, but also how happy she will be that I made some friends

when I walk in... I was not expecting to see what I did

(Oh? you thought I was done with this chapter? Im not that cruel)

FW: Death

My mom was sitting at our table, papers all around her. tears falling down her face. No lights on, and dad nowhere in sight. He worked from home, so he was always home when I got home from school

"mom?" I say as soon as I close the door

she looks up "oh Patton" She wipes her face

"where is dad? what's wrong?" I ask, walking up to her

"Oh honey..." she pauses, "he.... he is gone..." I gasp, Gone? what?!? No no no, he can't be gone

"y-you mean h-he is just g-getting groceries r-right?!" her faces falls more

"no honey... he d-died.... about an hour ago..." no no no no, he can't be gone. I run to my room without another word. the tears start falling
