I was walking down the hallway at school, minding my own business, until Tia jumped right in front of me."Aah! Tia, you could've made me drop my book bag!" I told her, frightened.
"Sorry, I'm just hyped up for the Christmas party at the church's hall, are you coming?" She asked me. I met Tia since I was about 2 years old. She's smart and funny and has a good artistic side. Tia is awesome and is just a great person. There is no word that is good enough to describe her. When I was around 8 years old, I barely talked to her. But then once I started going to church activities, I talked to her more and we hung out often.
"I think so, but I'm still trying to plan out a ride," I told her.
"You should come with me! I have a bunch of room in my car," she said.
"I'll ask my mom, she'll probably say yes," I replied.
So for the rest of the day, I thought about how the part would go. I was thinking maybe a bunch of food toss, karaoke, a bunch of drama that I would have no idea about.
"Celine, what's the answer to the next one?" Mr. Rhodes asked me. I have a thing with zoning out but also I would know what's going on in class.
"13." I said confidently.
"Good, and how did you get it?"
"Well, I multiplied, then rounded the answer,"
"Ok, next one," Mr. Rhodes was saying as I continued my daydream.
The bell rang and I gathered my stuff and headed to my locker, which is right next to Tia's. I'm usually the first one out because I don't get caught up with the whole drama group. I put my books in and grabbed the books that I need for homework. I shuffled into the classroom and I snagged my book bag from the other side of the room.
I shoved all my books in it and waited till we can leave. Mrs. Berrigan, my homeroom teacher, walked in and dismissed us. Tia and I made it outside together because we have similar routes to home.
As we were walking in the spring air, I had a memory of what happened around 4 months ago, the incident of the sleepover at my house. That's the main reason why I moved. And the good thing is that I moved near Tia's house, so I ended up going to her school in Orefield. It's way better than my old "Catholic" school. The tea is way more interesting than it was over there. All the tea was people starting to date, breaking up the same day, and the next day they get back together, and they repeat it again. Like, why? Just get together and stay that way, or don't even get together. Nothing makes sense anymore.
