"No you are not, Celine. We will get through this together," Celina said a bit aggressively.

"Yea and..." Synthia tried to say but unexpectedly paused. Her eyes grew wide with tears and I could tell there was something wrong.

"Synthia? Are you good?" I asked, but out of nowhere she face planted to the floor with some sort of dagger in her back.

"Synthia!" We all said at once. The blood drained out of her back somehow and the dagger started to vanish. I leaned over to roll her around and her face was whiter than a pouch of flower. All the happiness got drained out of her face. Her good heart from the outside is done beating with cheer. Every good detail about her, gone, wasted. She was long gone, forever. She was the one who dragged me to the side when I got knocked out. She was the one who stayed back with Yasmeen to find Mary. She was the one who went out of her way to come and stay with me in the hospital. It was her choice to do what she did. And yet here we are, my fault that I was still alive. My fault that I didn't kill myself earlier. First it was Mary, now Synthia. I should've been the one that was dead, not them.

We ran to Tia's mom to tell her, but once we got back to the room, she was gone.

"But, she was just there? Where did she go?" Celina questioned, wiping her leftover tears, while gathering more. We looked around for her, at least some evidence of where she vanished. I open the curtains until I realize that it's morning. The curtains blocked every aspect of the window and looked like it was late-at-night dark. I check my phone and it says 2:10 P.M.

..................................

"Great, no footsteps left behind,'' Tia said. But soon as I was about to lift the covers on the bed, I heard a honking sound from outside. We all looked out the window and it was my mom. I looked at my phone and it was 4:00 P.M. How does time pass by that fast? It was only a couple minutes since I checked my phone, I thought.

I gathered my stuff and said my goodbyes and headed for the door, until I felt someone's hand on my shoulder.

"Tell us if there's anything new," Celina spoke out and Tia nodded her head. I gave them a smile and walked to the car. It turned out that my cousin Cayla came to pick me up. She already heard the news of what happened in the hall yesterday. Back at Tia's house, we actually saw it on 69 News on Celina's phone.

"So, anything new?" She asked.

"Well, Synthia got stabbed and disappeared," I replied.

"Really?" She said with a gasp. I nodded, trying to hold back my tears. I told her everything else that happened over there. I told her about how I had a vision after I got knocked out (from my viewpoint) and also that dream that I had following it. I also told her about how there was a really low chance of me surviving.

"Wow," she stated as she pulled into the driveway of my house.

"Yeah, and thanks. I'll let you know if I need you for anything."

"No problem, bye."

"Bye."

.......................

As I got home and got settled, I went and brushed my teeth and did my daily night-time routing. After I finished, I plopped onto my bed and stared at the ceiling for 10 minutes straight. I felt very energized, but immediately perceived sleepiness and fell fast asleep. But I had the strangest dream that I knew wouldn't probably happen.
