Prompt 6: You have a tattoo that only you can see where your soulmate will touch you for the first time.  Once you touch, it turns into vibrant colors.-via Tumblr images/the internet

To clarify, I'm going for where their skin touches for the first time on this one.  Because I know for a fact these two characters have shaken hands and stuff, in the show it's from (RWBY), but he has gloves!  So, hush.

Also, here is my no-context crack theory about how RoseGarden could be canon, with minimum RWBY spoilers.  (BUT THE SPOILERS ARE STILL THERE SO DO NOT WATCH IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN VOLUME 6 OF RWBY AND WANT TO.  You need to have seen at least Volume 6.)  So, there.

"Alright.  You have completed your mission.  You may rest, as you have said you wish to," the Brothers said, Grimmly.

"Thank you," said Ozpin's voice, coming from Oscar's mouth.

"Wait," I said.  "What will that do to Oscar?"

The Brothers tilted their heads at me.  "Does it matter?  He was a means to an end."  The Brothers left, and Salem outstretched her hand.  Ozpin, in control of Oscar, advanced and took Salem's hand.  An entity left Oscar, but Black burned Oscar's body.  Salem and the entity disappeared and Oscar collapsed.

"NO!" I screamed, and my eyes lit up, incinerating the Grimm that had remained when Salem left.  I ran forward to Oscar.  He was convulsing.  "Jaune, please, you have to do something!"

Jaune knelt by me and placed his hands on Oscar's chest.  "It's not working!"

"Maybe you need skin-to-skin contact?" suggested Ren.  Jaune hesitated.

"I don't know, it's never needed that before-"  I ripped open Oscar's shirt before he could say anything else.

"Just do something, please!"  Nora gasped.  "What?"  She pointed down at Oscar's chest, and there were tiny dragged lines that looked like someone had...just dragged their fingers across his skin... "JAUNE!  Please, I can't..." I can't lose someone else I love...

Jaune placed his hands on Oscar's chest, and the Black began to dissipate around his hands.  But it was moving too fast.  Oscar looked better, sure, a little bit, but not better enough.  I knew Jaune was pushing as hard as he could, but it wasn't working fast enough.

Suddenly, everything around me slowed.  Oscar's eyes opened, and he looked up at me, almost in tears.  I'm sorry, he mouthed.  It appeared he'd discovered his semblance, too late.  Not fast enough.

It clicked in my head.  If he was slowing time down, maybe I could speed up the healing process.  Jaune seemed to stop completely.  I pulled Oscar out from under him and stood him up.  Before he could fall, I raced around him, forcing the Black onto me.  Oscar stumbled but didn't fall.  Jaune blinked up at us, and the world began to move at a normal pace.

"Ruby...  What did you do?" Jaune asked.

"It... It was both of us."  Oscar looked down at his hands, flexing them, sending out little ripples of time.  The Black finally got to me and I muffled a yell.  Shh, you did it for him.  It will all be worth it.  I collapsed, the Black moving faster than I do.

"We're losing her!"  Time seemed to slow down around me as strong arms grabbed mine.  At least he will live.  The Black didn't exactly hurt.  But it certainly did stop me from caring about anything.  Anything except Oscar, it seemed.  I closed my eyes, and let go.

Soon enough, but not long enough, I was called back from wherever I had been.  I was almost annoyed, but I wasn't.  I felt like I had forgotten something important this time.  I heard voices, so I opened my eyes.
