Today we have our first DADA lesson with stupid Umbridge! The first day I saw her in the great hall I already knew I hated her.
But I didn't have to worry about that since that my second class, I just had to "worry" about potions. I love potions now, because I am one of Snape's favorite students now. Thanks dad.
I don't even know why I'm talking about classes right now since I'm in the great hall for breakfast. Obviously I was sitting at the Slytherin table with Draco and his friends. He's friends are actually not bad! Vincent and Gregory are a little thick skulled but other then that they aren't horrible. And Blaise is super nice, he is really funny and is so relatable! He's probably my favorite.
I had Draco on my left and Blaise on my right. I was grabbing some sausage when I felt a hand on my left thigh. I smirked but continued eating.
I was eating some toast a couple minutes later when I felt a leg brush against mine. I glanced at Draco and gave him a small smile.
After breakfast we went to potions and it was as expected. Snape loved me and the Slytherins and hated the Gryffindors. But potions was fun!
And now... it was hell next. Me and Draco walked slowly to Umbridge's classroom. Draco didn't seem to mind Umbridge surprisingly. We walked in and a lot of people were already here but there was still seats in the back. Perfect. Me and Draco both liked having privacy so we always preferred the back of the classroom. We sat down in the very back where almost no one was.
Then a little paper bird started to fly around the classroom. People tried to hit or knock it down which I thought was funny. I held in a laugh but then it soon turned into ashes. My smile I had on feel as it fell slowly on the Patil twins desk.
"Good morning children." A shrill voice said from behind me. I turned around to see the pink toad in all her glory. I cringed a little.
"Ordinary Wizarding Level Examinations." She said going down the rows of desks. She flicked her wand and the words Ordinary Wizarding Levels wrote on the board in curvy handwriting.
"O-W-Ls" she used the little piece of chalk and pointed at each word when she said the letter.
"More commonly known as OWLs." She said finally getting to the front and fake smiling. She then turned to look at us.
"Study hard and you will be rewarded. Fail to do so, and the consequences me be... sever." She shrugged a little at the end. I grimaced at her. She flicked her wand again and the books from her desk started to float to our desks.
"Your previous instruction in this subject has been disturbing... uneven." She said as the books hit our desks.
"But you'll be pleased to know, from now on you will be following a carefully structured, Ministry- approved course of defensive magic. Yes?" She said while smiling. God her cheeks must hurt after doing that.
