Daliah's pov

After a very eventful week we are back at school. When the bell rang for the first period we all got up and walked to the class. I don't know why, but for some reason I'm having a weird feeling in my gut, almost like something bad might happen.

I sighed and cleared my head frim all unneeded thoughts and sat down next to the girls; boys at just behind us. Before the teacher could start her lesson the door opened an in came Alexandra and Anastasia.

They gave a fake smile to Miss Lilith and walked passed us, but Anastasia turned and stared at me for few seconds and looked the other way. well that's weird.

A piece of paper fell out of my locker when I opened it to put my books in to go home. I picked it up and saw a little chit and something was written in it.

After reading it the only thing my mind screamed was to run to Xavi and that's what I did. I ran as fast as I could and I didn't even realize that I bumped into a hard chest. I looked up and saw the hazel eyes that I love.

"woah.. angel, what's wrong? calm down okay", he started calming me down.

I tool deep breathes and calmed myself slowly.

"yea.. like that angel. Breathe with me, that's more like it. Now tell me what made you run like this", Xavi asked.

"Xavi, someone put this inside my locker and this is not the first time I got these kind of threats", I said closing my eyes slowly after seeing the fire burning in his eyes.

" What the fuck on earth do you mean by that this is not the first time you've received one like this", he asked more like growled.

" I've received anonymous messages on my Instagram from random girls to stay away from you and they are yours. At first I ignored them since they were just jealous but the other dat when we at the beach house I got this message from an account telling me that you are hers and very soon I'll be out of the picture.", I explained tears pouring out of my eyes.

" Now show me what this letter says; 'you may take my threats empty but remember Daliah very soon you'll face your downfall at the unexpected moment by the unexpected'", Xavi read it out loud.

The car ride home was tense that it was almost scary to. I know Xavi is trying to keep his self together but I know he's far from calm.

As soon as the car stopped at Xavi's place he came to my side and opened my door and gave me his hand which I eagerly accepted.

When my hand made contact with his hand, Xavi's whole body relaxed visibly but I know not mentally.

After settling down on the bed, I turned to look at Xavi. His jaw was clenched was deep in thought. I scooted closer to him and laid my head on his chest and wrapped my arms around him like koala.

"Xavi, I'm sorry please talk to me", I whispered looking up at him.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner angel, the mere thought of something happening to you drives me insane. You know that I can't live a minute without you", he said looking down at me.

He brushed my hair and kept staring at my eyes, like I would disappear if he takes his eyes off me.

"Baby, don't worry nothing is going to happen to me and why do I need to be scared when I have my personal beast beside me all the time", I joked and kissed his lips.

Finally he gave me a small smile and replied, "yea I know that I'll be protecting you but we have to be careful until I find out who this person is threating you and angel please wear the promise ring I gave you with the tracker".

Many people would think that he is crazy to give me the ring with a tracker but he inserted it after he got permission from the next day he gifted it to me.

It's always good to be prepared because you never know what might happen.

"yea I do, I never take it off", I snuggled in to his chest.

"good night baby girl, I love you", he kissed my forehead and gave me a big kiss on to my lips afterwards.

"goodnight mi Vida, I love you more", I mumbled against his lips.

"not possible! I love you more angel", he dramatically huffed.

"whatever makes you sleep at night baby", I said in a singing voice and laughed after seeing his usual cute pout that only I get to see.

I kissed his pouted lips and went back to snuggling his chest to sleep.

But little did I know what was to come
