Chapter 3~ thats impossible

Max'sPOV ~

A warm presence wakes me up. Huh, when did I fall asleep?

"Wakey wakey"

Who's voice is that? Chilled? Sparklez? Ohm? I'm not sure. I should probably like, open my eyes but I mean, sleep. I roll over ignoring the person beside me.

"Come on love, didn't you miss me"

Love? Love...Adam!? I turn over and open my eyes quickly. His body looks angelic in the morning sunlight. His Cheshire Smile was accompanied by his entire head this time, completely seen.

"H-how do you g-get in here?" Damn. My morning voice failed to work, let alone around him.

"Um well love? I'm kinda capable of invisibility" he says with a giggle and a smirk on his face. That giggle, it makes my heart beat faster.

"Well, then, why are you here?..."

He smiles, a smile that can only mean he knows something that I don't. He leans in. What? Why is he doing that? How can my heart be possible beating faster? His breath tickles my ear as he hovers above me, as if he's about to whisper something

"I like you, and I want to know how it would feel to kiss you"

My breath catches in my throat. My hearts going at maximum speed. My face heats up in a deep blush.

"Would you like that? Love? Would you like me to kiss you? Just say the word love"

"Please. Please do" my voice came out soft and quite. So quite I didn't think he hear me. But he must have because he turned his head and looked at my lips. Slowly, he began to lean in. Closer, and closer and closer and-

Beep. Beep. Beep.

I sat up with a start. My sleep crusted eyes showing my confusion. Did I really just have that dream? Have I seriously fallen for a man I just met? A man who killed my friend?

"Yo! Gassy! You gonna get up or...?"

"Yeah chilled, give me a minute, I fell asleep late. Save me a seat at breakfast?"

He nods and walks out. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. My hand seems to move on its own accord, lightly running my fingers along the S that had began to scab over a little. I sigh. Alright, its official. I love a mad man.

As I sit down with the guys, they seem quieter than normal. I guess the mission yesterday took a toll on all of us.

"I don't get it. How everyone got hurt and, not you? Gassy? Did it say anything to you?" Sark looks at me, eyes full of confusion and wonder. Do I lie? Do I tell them what he said? Do I show the...love scar?

"Yeah. He did" I look down and take a bite of my muffin, how can I look them in the eyes when they were all hurt due to a man I love?

"Well, uh, care to elaborate?" Chilled asks cautiously. He's not sure he wants to know. and I get it. I wish that I didn't know.

"He...he..." I sigh. How do I begin to word what happened? In the end I just shake my head and look up. All my friends look at me expectantly. I lift my arm. I roll up my sleeve. I hear the gasps

Sark'sPOV ~

I've seen this before. The hidden. They, like to mark the ones they wish to protect. Usually its because they love someone. Nanners, he must love Max. This is not good.

"What dose S stand for?.." Ze asks cautiously.

"Seananners. Adam was Sargent Seananners" I said, my voice failing me by wavering.

"Sark...I'm not sure why he put it there...all I know is he killed mark and then left me there. He attacked minx and put this on my arm. He never attacked me. I don't know why" Max looked on the verge of tears. I can't lie, not about something like this.

"He loves you." Are the only words I could muster. His breath catches. His face goes red. Everyone turns to me, wide eyed.

"How could you know?" Chilled

"What do you mean?" Ze

"No way" minx

"That's why he was left alone?" Hutch

"That's impossible" max

I take a deep breath. "Its only impossible if you believe it is" I whisper
