Remember that no matter what, you can always get better. All you have to be willing to do is work hard and change your mindset. Here are some good habits that helped me change my grades and become a better student.
• Know what's real and what's not. Some students make up excuses to not be a better student. You may think that something is preventing you from reaching your full potential, but it could all be in your head. Know that anyone can be an A grade student with a little bit of motivation and a whole lot of hard work, even you!
• Know when you need to improve. Regardless of what kind of student you are or what subject you're struggling in, you can always improve. The only reason why you're not improving is because you're making limits for yourself when you're really capable of so much more.
• Motivate yourself. Repeating "I need to get good grades" to yourself over and over again will work for a certain amount of time but not in the long term. You have to find something that motivates you to become a better version of yourself, whether it be the need to become better than someone or the need to achieve your goals.
• Set a good impression. In the first few weeks of school, the professor is going to have a good or bad impression of you based on how hard you work. This impression lasts all year, so if you start off as a bad student, they'll still stick with that impression and lower your grades, so make sure to try extra hard the first few weeks!
