Jo had been invited over to Kurts house to help him, Tina and Brittany with a dance video he wanted to make. She agreed to come, but wasn't really happy about it, especially after finding out that she would be the one working the camera and not even dancing.

She was supposed to hang out with Noah today but he cancelled, making up a sad excuse before hanging up on her. He's been acting weird after the acafellas performance last week when he said he wanted to ask her something. She was starting to grow impatient with how he's been acting around her. Every time he seen her coming his way in school, he would run in the other direction.

Everyone turned to the stairs after hearing the music stop. Kurts eyes widened at the sight of his Dad at the bottom of the stairs, an unimpressed look on his face.

"Dad," Kurt began, "you're home early"

"Deadliest catch is on," Burt, Kurts Dad, Said. "What are you wearing?"

"It's a unitard." Kurt said nervously, "guys wear them to, uh, workout nowadays. Do sports. They wick sweat from the body."

Burt pulled back on the unitard, before letting it go, making Jo flinch slightly at the sound it made but Kurt seemed to be fine.

"F-football" Tina stuttered.

"Yeah, all the guys in football wear them." Kurt said, continuing with the lie. "They're jock-chic"

Jo stood confused behind Tina. How could Kurts dad not know he's gay?

"Totally. Kurts on the football team now" Brittany said, "he's the kicker. That's the smallest guy on the field, right?"

"Oh my god" Jo muttered in disbelief, her face matching Kurts.

"Yeah, yeah, Tina, Jo and Britt were just helping me with some conditioning work." Kurt tried to smile.

"Hmm, really?" Burt asked. "You know, I played in JC, before I busted up my knee popping wheelies on my dirt bike."

"Cool." Kurt nodded, "I guess we'll have something to talk about, then." He laughed.

"So one of you three his girlfriend?" Burt asked.

Jo took a step back, looking down at her feet. Kurt grabbed Tina's back, pulling her next to him. Tina faked a smile.

"But I'm not ready to be exclusive just yet" Kurt said.

Kurts dad nodded, "All right, just keep the music down. Can't hear myself think up there." Burt began walking to the stairs, but turned around again, "Hey, Kurt? Be sure to get me a ticket to your first game."

Kurt nodded and Burt walked up the stairs. Jo turned to Kurt, "don't you think you should tell him?"

Kurt sighed, "not yet"

"So, are you gonna tell me why you had to get a ride with me today?"

"Because Noah's ignoring me, so now I'm ignoring him to see how he likes it" Jo told Finn, who only rolled his eyes.

"Wow, what a great friendship you two have" he replied sarcastically.

Finn had an idea on why Noah was acting weird. He knew he liked Jo and was probably bummed out when Jo said they were 'just friends.' Finn remembered Noah telling him how he was gonna ask her out last week, like he had been trying for months, and not chicken out. But, when it came to him asking her, he got interrupted.
