Camela clutched Jackson's hand while he flew down the highway. She wanted to tell him to slow down but she knew right now was not the right time. "YO?! Why nun of yall niggas call me, I gotta see my shit on fire on the news? What type fuck shit is that?" Jackson barked on the phone. From he pulled out of the parking lot he was on the phone trying to figure out what happened. He went silent for a while and Camela gave his hand a reassuring squeeze. He looked at her then focused back on the road. He sighed then hung up. "They say the fire was set on purpose. When I find out I'm gon squeeze a lot of people I swear." He threatened. Camela couldn't say she was bothered by it because she wanted to hurt someone as well. They worked damn hard for that shit and aint no way no lame hating ass person was gonna take it from under them.
Jackson parked on the curb not even turning the car off and hopped out. Camela looked at him crazy and cut the car off and take the keys out before locking it. If someone ran off with his car he was gonna be extra pissed, she ran to catch him up. "Okay babe, I know you're insanely mad right now but you gotta pull it together to talk to some very important people. Think and breathe." She coached and he just nodded.
News teams bomb rushed them, there were cameras flashing and microphones being pushed into their faces. "Do you have an enemy?" "Does this mean war?" "Who do you think would do such a thing?" "How bad was the fire?" Jackson just held Camela's hand and pushed through the crowd. The scent of smoke was thick in the air and you could still see a bit of smoke as well.
Jackson walked up to a firefighter asking him who was in charge and he pointed to a guy in a suit. "Hello sir, My name is Jackson Carter. I'm the owner of this establishment. What's going on?" Jackson questioned extending his hand to shake. "YO MOVE THE FUCK OUT MY WAY! YALL DONT SEE MY SHIT WAS ON FIRE?" Jackson heard Jesse bark and pushing through the crowd with Stacey on his arm. "These people have no respect bro. Pardon my manners, I'm Jesse Carter the owner of this establishment." He also extended his hand for the gentleman to shake.
The guy looked at both of them obviously seeing the resemblance and put together that they are brothers. "Hello, my name is Robert Smith. I'm the head of the fire department." He said while shaking both of their hands. Everyone was silent and looking at him to go on. He caught the hint and cleared his throat, "Well the fire started this morning around 6, we had another business owner called us in. We caught it pretty earily so you got minor damage. The fire seemed to be arson and that is going to cause this to turn into a police investigation. However, our investigation isn't quite done yet so you can not enter the building until my guys deem it safe to enter." He explained firmly. "I'm terribly sorry for this because I heard its a new club and its very unfortunate that you all have to go through such a tramutizing thing. I assure you that-" Mr. Smith was then cut off by a firefighter. "Boss, you have to see this, it seems like the person was in the club when the fire started. No windows or doors was busted. I'm thinking that when the club closed whoever was here last started the fire." The firefighter explained.
Everyone eyebrows rose and you could tell that Jackson and Jesse was one minute away from losing their shit. "Just fuckin rats and snakes man! Every where we fuckin go and when we're trying to do good!" Jesse spat with his nostrils flaring. Everyone was confused and trying to think who would do something like this. Camela knew that the club had cameras but she already knew the police was onto that, Everyone was annoyed and wanting to go inside to see the damage. Camela really hoped that it wasn't as bad as they all thought it would be, she was really trusting in what the firefighter said. Just then her thoughts were cut off by shouting, when she zoned into what was happening all she hear was "THERE'S A BODY!".
Shit was just beyond crazy for everyone right now. Everyone's mind was racing, who what and why? A body burned in their club? What did that person do? Was it some other niggas waring and brought this bullshit into their club? Just then police officers asked the group to move away from the scene because this was now a murder investigation. Shit was happening too fast for any of them. Losing the club was heavy on everyone's mind. Jackson wanted answers and he demanded them but got shut down by every officer on the scene. He was seconds away from losing it before he felt a small hand interwined with his. "Let's take a walk babe." was all Camela said before pulling him away. They proceeded to walk away from the chaotic scene and Camela looked back looking at Jesse and Stacey focused on the scene that was going on around them but they remained hand in hand. She smailed a bit knowing that Stacey was there for Jesse because she didn't think she could handle both of them at the same time.
