Earthquakes & Riddles (Chp 6 Pt 2)

A/N: Yes I did two chapters today -_-. I missed last week so I'm making up for it :3. I also didn't realise that the beginning of this chapter is similar to the Divinus Magia perspective in Poketail origin :3.

(OOO Mario's POV)

"Mari-darn, you're the wrong Mario. Everyone, get away from the inn!" Ritchie yelled so we run towards the opening.

Once I made it, I turned around to see the blue time wizard still running with his yellow friend in his arms.

"Run Jakey!" Bryan yelled as the earth was cracking around Jakey. Debris was flying everywhere so Brandon made an air bubble around us.

Suddenly, a giant crack appeared in front of Jakey, making him unable to run further towards us. The crack grew towards him, making him back up and turn around to see that he's stuck on a little island of dirt.

"Jakey!!" Bryan was panicked as his boyfriend was in trouble, but he couldn't help

I know a way I can...

"B-Brandon! L-Let m-me out of t-the bubble!" He looked at me like I was crazy but did it anyway. I ran towards Jakey, pulling out a familiar blue amulet out of my pocket, just as Jakey's little island was crumbling.

"Ahhhhh!!" He screamed as he fell into the hole, everyone behind me was yelling at us. Me because I was crazy and Jakey because he was falling.

I jump into the hole and summon my trusty pegasus friend, Jeffery, who I only just found out was with me. We flew down and caught Jakey on Jeffery's back. Jakey gripped onto my Toga with little Oliver in his arms.

"T-T-Thank y-you..." He whispered and I nodded. We flew up and I saw that the earth was closing in on us.

"Hurry up!!" We saw Brandon floating above the hole, looking down at us with a panicked face.

"H-Hang on." He does as I told him and Jeffery flew as fast as he could. I narrowed my eyes as we shot out of the ground just as the earth closed.

Jeffery flew around for a bit before we decided to land. "T-Thanks again." Jakey smiles. I smiled back.

"W-Well, I d-didn't w-want you t-two t-to die." He chuckled as Bryan ran up to us, relieved but also worried.

"Jakey!! You're ok!" Jakey hopped off of Jeffery and placed Oliver on the ground, preparing for the life-endangering hug he was about to be engulfed into by his boyfriend.

"Y-Yeah, t-t-thanks to M-Mario." Jakey motioned towards me before Bryan pulls him in for a kiss.

When they pull apart, Bryan looks at me with a grateful look on his face. "Thank you for saving Jakey and Oliver. I don't know what I would do without either of them."

"N-No problem, B-Bryan." I looked over at Jeffery and started to stroke his mane. He bent down so I could reach and neighed happily.

"Umm, Mario? Who's this?" Ritchie pointed towards Jeffery and I chuckled.

"T-This is Jeffery, my p-pegasus. I f-found him a-at my f-father's temple b-back a-at h-home." A few were confused but I said nothing. Until Kay and Kit came up to us and asked to pet him.

"Sure, h-he loves being s-stroked o-on t-the wing." Jeffery lets out a few happy noises and flaps his wings around as Kay and Kit are stroking him.

A few moments later I decided to put Jeffery back in his amulet. He glowed for a bit until he completely disappeared, confusing everyone.

"What the heck was that?" Was the question everyone was thinking.
