While i and my nong were talking, we heard few giggles.
My heart stopped for a second when i saw beam standing by the refrigerator looking at us.

"Long enough phi" he bit his lower lip and walked towards us.

I turned to look at his face and confess my feeling. "Beam"
"Y-yes, phi" his angelic voice get me dizzy.
"Nice shirt" what the fvck ,what was i saying?
"Thanks?" He took few ingredients from the cabinet and started mixing.
"When we first met, i knew you were special" i can't afford to miss this day.
He dropped the spatula.
"After spending some time, i realised how strong and compassionate a man you truly are" beam opened his mouth "Shhh, let me finish Beam"
He nodded.
"Will you be my boyfriend?"
"I'm happy you finally asked phi" did he liked me back like yo said.
It isn't clear yet "Does that mean?"
He nodded again. "I must be lucky to be your boyfriend phi"
I am overwhelmed. I lifted him and made a spin spilling flour all over the kitchen.
"Phi, put me down. Oh god, this is a mess" he is nervous.
"We'll ask our maids to clean it up. Now come on, i should tell my brother" i grabbed his wrist and went to find my nong.
"I feel honoured to welcome, the newly wed Mr & Mr suthiluck" yo dramatically threw the plastic flowers on us.

"Daddy, meet my boyfriend Beam Baramee" i introduced the second time with our fingers entwined.
"Don't we already know each other?"
"Yes, but we just got together" i smiled.
Daddy gasped "you weren't before? I thought you guys decided to keep it private. What ever" he took Beam's hand.
"Beam dear, welcome to the family" as an immediate reaction Beam embraced daddy.
Yo and i shrugged. equally confused with his action.
"It's very late Beam, stay this night. We have an extra room" daddy said sitting on the couch.
"Thanks Mr.Suthiluck, i don't wanna trouble you more. I'll call Uber"
Daddy disagreed and asked me to drop him home. I was confused when beam asked nong yo to tag along.
"I'm sorry i couldn't bake for you today Mr.Suthiluck if you don't mind i will come again on my next day off."
"That's alright dear, you can come whenever you feel like. And it's dad for you" daddy bidded bye.
"Bye d-dad, see you " beam sounds so happy.
Beam got in the passenger seat and yo on the back seat.
"P'forth do you think i went extra?"
"What are you talking about beam?"
"Phi, i have never seen my parents. Kit and i grew up in an orphanage. I still remember those days when couples come for adoption and i hoped they choose me. But that day never came phi. I was longing to call someone por or mae." He sniffed. I got teary too.
Yo from behind hugged Beam and rubbed his arms.
Beam chuckled and wiped his tears "god, this got so dramatic"
"I promise I'll take care of you and provide everything you deserve beam" i caressed his cheek.
"P'forthh let's eat ice cream to celebrate" my nong always ends everything in food, but why not? It might cheer beam.
I stopped in a store." You both wait inside the car, I'll bring ice creams" i unfastened my seat belt and opened the door. "Nong, behave" with that i left to the store.
I bought three popsicles and got irritated of the billing queue. Who even shop at this ungodly hour.
It took 15 minutes to reach the car.
I opened the door to find no one inside. Oh no no no. That's when i heard some noises next to few cars and rushed there.
My blood boiled seeing a fat stinky man punching my nong in his face and two holding beam's hands.
My fist landed on their faces and they were a group of 4.
"Beam, yo, run to the car" i shouted.
Beam was pulling yo towards the car "yo, come on we'll call the cops" yo was adamant and kept kicking the fat man in the gut who was holding beam's hand before.
Even though i am good at fighting I was losing the fight with 4 i didn't want beam and yo to get hurt.
I again screamed "yo, for once, for once in your life, listen"
"No" he shouted back.
I dodged their kick and few punches. I curled my hand to a fist and aimed for the opponents nose, when i hit the bridge of his nose his blood splattered and collapsed.
I couldn't see beam. Yo was kicking one and had a shovel in his hand hitting the other one's back out of it.
The man he was kicking from the beginning passed out and the second man tried to grab the shovel.
"Huh, you want the shovel you goof? You tried to grab his but, didn't you? I'll show you how it feels to be paddled" yo was outraged.
Yo pushed the other one to ly on his stomach, with one foot on his back lower to his neck and the other foot to his thigh and pressed hard.
Yo beat the shit outta his ass using the shovel and the man lying cried in pain.
I scrunched my face in disgust and went over my nong to stop him.
Yo stopped automatically when we heard a siren of police car. Nong spat blood on the guy and threw the shovel as far as possible.
This is supposed to be a romantic night.
I sighed. We should have listened to daddy and stayed home.
