"Yo, why didn't you attend school today?" Kong asked yo with folded hands and stern tone.
Wayo groaned, looked up at the roof muttering something and turned to kong's direction. "Paa, how did you know?"
"Your paa asked you a question yo" arthit said standing behind kong.
Wayo eyed for his brother to help, but forth was looking equally disappointed.
"I-i don't understand what you're talking about" yo laughed nervously and reached for his appa.
"Stop playing around. Why did you bunk school today?" Kong asked again. His accent might sound calm to others but yo knew he was dead serious.

"Paa, daddy please listen to me. You know Ming's papa was gone right?" Yo started his story bypassing kong and holding the hem of his daddy's tshirt.
"What do you mean he is gone?" Arthit freaked.
"He was gone for 2 weeks and ming was really very stressed about it, as a best friend i felt it was my responsibility to bring back his peace of mind. I didn't want him to die of cardiac arrest" yo narrated in a dramatic manner.
Kong rolled his eyes and interrupted the daddy son moment. "To.the.point"
Wayo pouted and went to his phi, "i thought p'beam cafe would be the best place to pour his heart so i took him there. My intention was not to miss the precious classes but to help my poor friend phi"

P'forth nodded and patted his head.
"You can't wait to ease your best friend after school? Why does that have to be on the class time?" Kong sat on the couch and made yo to stand opposite to him holding his shoulders.
"My bad appa, as a self punishment I'll sleep tonight with empty stomach. I'm not eating dinner today" yo said raising his right hand, closing his eyes.
Pha was confused and he whispered in yo's ears "didn't we just eat dinner an hour ago n'yo?"
Yo stopped pha inbetween "please p'pha don't stop me. I had to endure starvation to earn my family's trust back. I'm requesting you to stay out of this matter"
