"are you done yet? what's taking so long?"

seungmin asks as he enters hyunjin's room.

hyunjin comes out of the shower, dressed and drying his hair.

"sorry, let's go now."

they leave the house and get into the seungmin's car.

half an hour later, they stop in front of seungmin's house.

as they walk into the living room, jiyeon comes out of the kitchen.

"seungmin, where were you? i was worried."

jiyeon gingerly takes seungmin's hand.

seungmin glances at their intertwined hands before freeing his arm.

"i was hanging out with my friend, there isn't a need for you to worry. what brings you here?"

"my parents told me to spend some time with you today..."

hyunjin's heart hurt.

"could you drop by another time? i made plans with my friend already."

seungmin requests politely as jiyeon steps back

"sure, goodbye."

jiyeon takes her purse and makes her way out of the house.

"why are you so formal to your fiancé?"

hyunjin asks.

"we're getting married because we have to. she came here because she was told to. we don't like each other and it's all for show, so everything between us is professional."

hyunjin felt his lips turn upwards a tiny bit.

relief floods him as he hears seungmin.

the happy feeling disappears as soon as he remembers seungmin isn't gay.
