Sweetheart or Tsundere?

Chapter Thirty

Juvia finished her unison raid training with Gray and Lyon, she could feel tension between Lyon and herself. She hadn't forgotten what she had done, and every time she was alone with him. She would attempt to bring up those issues. Lyon seemed to dodge all serious talk with Juvia at that point. Juvia pushed him into the water in front of Lucy's house,

"Lyon-Sama!!! Stop ignoring Juvia!" She squealed,

Lyon tried to swim to the surface, Juvia created a bubble for him to breathe. She used her water magic to drag the confused man with her in between the bottom of the stream and air.

"My Lacrima phone could be wet!" He groaned,

"Don't lie, Juvia knows yours is waterproof. Plus you don't even have it." She said matter of factly, and handed him back his phone.

"We need to talk about what is going on between us and Gray." Juvia sighed,

"How did you get that?!" Lyon inspected  the phone,

"When I pushed you in, anyways can we talk?!" Juvia fumed,

"Okay.... Fine, let's talk." Lyon said, giving her a sympathetic smile.

Erza and Lucy sparred with Gray and Natsu. After nearly two hours, they took a break, Lucy was now able to defend against several of their attacks. She had grown significantly stronger compared to before, she meditated often to train her magic levels. Natsu praised his girlfriend, he bragged at how Lucy might be able to challenge Erza one day. This group of friends returned to their guild, they had so much fun talking that they almost forgot the purpose of their training.

After her recovery Hisui became queen again, her father that was the former king. Only took her place on the throne temporarily in her absence. For diplomatic relations between Alvarez was a success, which was why the idea of moving citizens became the best course of action. Makarov along with many other guilds picked off the first batch of who was to leave and not participate in the battle. Bisca and her family, Jet, Droy, Laki Nab etc. The other guilds sent the weaker links, Chelia was a powerful wizard but her magic was no where near usable for battle power. She would only be considered a hindrance, with a heavy heart she left for Alvarez Empire in tears.

It had been a month since that day, along with Juvia and Lyon's conversation, there was some silence between the three for a while. After much convincing from guild mates and masters. They were able to put aside their personal feelings two weeks after their pep talk, when they were spotted training together yet again. Their atmosphere was a little gloomy, but desperate times called for desperate measures. The most unusual thing however, was the new scar on Lyon's chest.

Wendy was requested to remove the scar on him, several people assumed Gray had stabbed Lyon or something. Gaining concern from Juvia, but Lyon reassured her that Gray hadn't done anything. And it wasn't a form of self harm, he merely had an old wound reopened. Not wanting to press the issue further, they allowed him to do as he pleased. Meanwhile in Magnolia, after another practice battle, Lucy along with Erza and Natsu left for the guild hall. Natsu caught another scent similar to Lucy in the area,

"Oh! Anna is probably here!" Natsu grinned,

"Really? Do you see her anywhere?" Lucy asked,

"That's weird. She has a slightly new smell, I can't tell what it is." Natsu said while glancing around,

After not being able to pinpoint her location. He changed his mind, instead he would return to the guild for a meal. Lucy and Erza chuckled, but agreed on the idea of going back. They neared the street where Fairy Tail was in direct sight, when suddenly a sickle attached to a chain flew in their direction. Natsu had detected bloodlust nearby, he grabbed Lucy and dodged the attack. Natsu put her down gently, both glaring at their foe. Erza equipped the morning star armor, pointing her weapon in the direction the sickle was yanked back into. Powerless citizens that saw this, ran in fear for their lives.
