Sweetheart or Tsundere?

Chapter Twelve

Wendy healed everyone from their slight sunburn. By the time it was over she had fallen asleep, Natsu helped carry the small girl back to the girl's rooms. Dinner would be in an hour at an outdoor all you can eat buffet, Natsu and Gajeel were probably the most excited about it. Everyone went to the hot springs as prep time before dinner, Wendy woke up to Juvia nudging her.

"Wendy san, we are going to the hot springs, do you want to follow us?" Juvia asked.

Wendy yawned while stretching her little arms, She simply nodded in agreement. Wendy proceeded to walk away with her towel along with other products in a basin she prepared. Once everyone finished rinsing off, they headed for the hot springs. Everyone had their hair down, each of them holding small towels to their bodies.

The girls took their places in the spring and Levy started asking serious questions.

"Erza have you slept with Jellal yet?" She basically purred at the question.

Erza glowed pink, "I won't answer that!" She yelled.

Jellal sneezed once in the male's room, he sniffed. "Well that was sudden," he smiled to himself.

There were other men in the baths, but the boys made sure to chase away men besides the wall, knowing full well their respective partners were bathing on the side beyond. Natsu ate one of the fires of a torch he held in hand, Gajeel drank a shot of sakê on a nearby serving table before entering the tub.

Gray walked inside, he took place in an empty, separate lukewarm spring. Gray wanted to soothe his skin from the slight sunburn he acquired, Gray turned the spring he sat into an ice bath. He sighed contentedly as his shoulders sunk deeper into the freezing water, he overheard a voice from the other side of the tall wall.

"Oh, Mirajane San! You're here." Lucy said,

"I got a free night at this inn because I'm singing for entertainment, and I have a photo shoot at the beach tomorrow anyways." Mirajane explained.

She sat besides Lucy, as she leaned against the end of their shared hot spring she asked.

"Where is Juvia?" Mirajane looked around,

Gray listened closer, he inspected his surroundings carefully so nobody would get the wrong idea. He took a seat in the center of his spring, he noticed Lyon wasn't there too. But Gajeel and Natsu moved closer to the wall in order to eavesdrop as well, the girl's spoke too softly for him to hear. But he waited for the winds to cease as his focus remained on their conversation.

"I think Juvia's pretty tired since she used her magic for a long time." Wendy explained,

"I only helped her a little, but she really did try and make this enjoyable didn't she?" Levy said while slicking back her hair.

"It was!" Lucy tossed her hair back allowing it to soak in the water.

Lyon sat on a chair besides Gray's cold tub, he wore only a towel around his waist. Along with a small wash cloth just above his shoulders. Gray noticed Lyon, but before he could speak Lyon cut him off.

"There are many people from your guild that arrived here." He ran a hand through his hair,

"Oh, yeah?" Gray asked.

Gray noticed that Laxus and Freed were already sitting with Natsu and Gajeel on the other side.

Juvia's voice was heard over the wall, "Did you all really have fun?" She asked in a squeaky voice.

"Of course we did." Erza answered,

She tied up her hair with a thin band on her wrist. Juvia nodded at the response, she sunk under the water for a moment. Juvia popped out of the water once she got to the end of the spring, she sat besides the wall her back facing against stone. She waved at her friends,

"It's less hot on this end of the bath." she pointed out,

Gray shook in surprise, Lyon noticed the strange movement quickly. He then pointed to Gray, it was as if both men had a telepathic moment. Is she there? He mouthed, Gray nodded quickly and began to swim back to the center of the spring. Lyon exited the tub sitting on the outside of it,

Laxus stared at the floating tray with sakê, he took a shot and proceeded to pass it to Natsu. The tray went around and they decided to take a shot together. It was then Laxus said,

"There's booze in the men's and women's rooms so... does that mean there is sakê at the girl's springs as well?" He gulped down another cup.

Natsu, Gajeel and Gray were wide eyed. Lyon stared at them, "what's wrong?" He asked.

"Levy knows not to drink." Gajeel mentioned, "so I'm safe."

"If Erza San drinks nobody is really safe are they?" Lyon asked, while getting up for more bottles.

Natsu and Gray hugged each other. "Noooooo." They groaned together,

They overheard the girl's saying bye to Juvia. She felt tired, so being in the water too long and sakê was draining her a bit. Natsu then released Gray and asked,

"Oh, Laxus. Is there anyone else from the guild?" He placed a bath towel on his head.

"Now that you mention it Loke is here as well."

Just then a loud scream rang out from the changing room. Everyone heard the scream, Natsu sprang up tying a towel around his junk.

"It's Juvia!" He yelled,

Everyone dashed out, Lyon and Gray were the first to arrive at the front of the large changing room. They saw a man hovering over Juvia in only a bath towel, while she was on the moist ground. Laying on her back and her towel was slightly opened, the man's cheek was pressed against one of her bare breasts. The brown haired man raised himself, it was Loke.

"It it's not what you think, this was an accident! The girls appeared as well,

Juvia was tipsy and pink, she saw Lyon and Gray who were jaw dropped at the scene before them.

"Lyon sama, Gray samaaaa.. Help me." Juvia had tears welling in her eyes.

As if possessed, both ice mages were angry. In an instant they yanked Loke off Juvia, freezing him into a ball of ice.

"Natsu! Gajeel! If you don't wanna melt the ice toss him into the hottest tub back there!" Gray yelled.

Lyon and Gray kicked the ball, sending it rolling towards their friends. Natsu used his fire to change the direction of the ice making it fall into the hot spring. He proceeded to melt the part that wasn't submerged by the water.

Erza and Levy helped Juvia up, it was decided girls were to have their food served to their rooms. If they wanted more they would ask their boyfriend to get anything they asked. Gray and Lyon internally scratched their heads, both of them couldn't accept how some random guy happened to see Juvia's bare body.

Seeing that Loke was sincerely sorry, after explaining how he had stripped himself for the bath. He dropped his glasses, that was when a tipsy Juvia Lockser bumped into him. She tried to run away by turning into water, however since she wasn't in the best state of mind, she caused Loke to slip and fall on top of her.

Everyone decided to call it a night after dinner, Gray and Lyon apologized after escorting Loke to the girl's rooms, to apologize to Juvia. they would be here for a few days anyways. All they could do was prepare themselves for the next person's plans for tomorrow.
