allies

be be's lecture wasn't much, just a run through of the remaining tributes, there was one girl, district 7, she was only 9, she didn't deserve to be in this, to the capital this was all just a game, a way to scare us drag us down, to stop a rebelion i supose, but i didn't care, we deserved a rebelion, we deserved better than what we got, living the way we do has to be illegal in other countries, i don't even know what country we're in, panem is my closest answer, anyway after be be's lecture we were taken to the training grounds, the first thing you noticed were the two tall iron doors, as we approached they quickly slid into the floor, most of the tributes were already there, training, not mitch or jerome though, we were going to use this time to train but overall get allies, some of the people we desired to be allies with were way out of our league, one was called Tryton, he was from 9 and voulentered for the games, he was perfect at practically everything he did, he had already allied with a girl called Jessica and another guy called Finley, he didn't ally with the girl from his district though, her name was Persenophy, I wasn't sure on what she was good at, but she had to be good at something because she voulentered for the games too, they mustn't get along, like me and sky didn't, I went over to her while she was on a simulation, I noticed a person coming up behind her, I grabbed a spear from the rack and threw it at the hologram, it swiftly dodged and continued heading for Persenophy, guess im not too good at the hand of a spear, she quickly turned around slashing at the hologram before ending the simulation,

"if you wanted to use the simulation you should have waited until I was finished!" she looked at me scowling,

"sorry...uuh I was just trying to help," I said questionally,

"ugh, you wanna be allies do you," I nodded confidently, "well I will if you can prove youre good with a weapon," she gestured over to the rack of weapons beside the smulation, I look for a second, swords, machetes, spears even tomahawks, no bow and arrow though, I decided to go without, I held my hand up. she shrugged and stepped off the platform as I stepped on, the simulation began, a man apeared in front of me, we immediately engaged.

he threw a punch at me, I dodged kicking him off his feet, I grabbed his neck and chest picking him up, swinging him over my head and slammed him into the ground spilling pixels in all directions, I panted,

"thats gonna be no use if your apponant has a sword," she set the holograms to weaponised with swords, two materialised and ran at me, I readied in stance, one threw their sword at me while the other took a more direct approach, I had to flip backwards to dodge the first sword but as I did I unintentionally kicked the other sword out of the hologram's hand, and out of instinct grabbed it by the leg swinging it around several times before releasing it and sending it flying into the first hologram causing them both to explode into pixels.

"use this!" she threw me what looked like a battleaxe, it was heavy but not too heavy to fight with.

"listem im gonna take a break," I threw her back the axe,

"you won't be able to 'take a break'" she quoted "in the games,

"I know,"
