His wounds have healed exponentially over the past twenty-four hours. FuriousDestroyer manages to walk with some assistance from me. We walk at an extremely slow pace. I'm carrying all of our stuff including all of his enchanted armor.

We walk for hours with little breaks. I start cramping because of having to carry his heavy armor and having to half carry FuriousDestroyer. I don't complain though because I know FuriousDestroyer is hurting a lot more than me by the look on his face. We trek on for a few more hours.

"Wait. Stop."

I stop in front of a peculiarly large tree.

"I don't see any sort of cottage."

"Set me down next to the tree."

I do as he says.

"Hand me my blades."

I give him his blades. He presses one hand onto the tree and the other grabs his blades with the other. The blades start glowing. He mutters something under his breath. It sounds like his name. The blades stop glowing. I help him stand back up. The tree starts slowly disappearing. In its wake is a large, tall cottage. We limp closer and closer to it. I set him down on the ground right next to the cottage.

"Lucinda!"

I hear footsteps coming down the stairs. A girl with the brightest orange eyes and hair opens the door. She's wearing a white and navy blue dress and a black witch hat.

"FuriousDestroyer?! Are you okay?!"

"No I'm perfectly fine. I'm only a little bit dying."

"Okay. Wait, who's this? A girlfriend?"

Lucinda eyes me suspiciously.

"No she's not my girlfriend! Why does everybody say that?! I can explain about her later!"

"Fine."

A light blue staff appears in her hand. A cloud of smoke whisks us away. We end up in a room in her house. I help FuriousDestroyer onto a bed in the middle of the room. Lucinda starts tinkering with strange looking substances and weird colored liquids. A white owl with black spots stares at me. FuriousDestroyer has fallen asleep.

"Bigglesworth will lead you to the room you're going to stay in. You can set down FuriousDestroyer's stuff next to his bed."

The owl flies down from his perch.

"Follow me!"

I stand there in shock. A talking owl?! Sadly, that's not the weirdest thing that has happened to me. I follow Bigglesworth down winding halls and latters. I never expected the cottage to be so big on the inside. The cottage looked so small from the outside. He finally opens a door to our right. I walk in to see an extravagantly beautiful and clean room. I set down my stuff.

"Lucinda says that you should take a shower. She left some clean clothes for you on the bed."

Bigglesworth leaves the room. I open the door to the bathroom. The bathroom is as beautiful as the bedroom. I take a long and hot shower. I wrap myself in her silky soft towels. The clothes that she left me is apparently a silk, pink dress. I put it on. I've never worn something so beautiful before. I hear a knock at the door.

"Come in!"

Lucinda strolls in.

"How do you like the dress? FuriousDestroyer mentioned that you liked the color pink."

"Thank you. It's beautiful. Did he explain everything already?"

"Most of it yes. I'm sorry that I thought you were his girlfriend. It's just... nevermind."

"Just what? Why does everyone think that I'm his girlfriend?"

"It's just... the way you look at him. I've never seen anything like it before. Like a mixture of pity, confusion, caring, and admiration. It's so close to the look of love."

"I see... Can I ask you something?"

"Of course."

"How does he know that I like the color pink?"

"Mama Big Bertha used to tell all the wielders about her adorable daughter SuperGirlyGamer. How she loved the color pink and pufferfish. After your tenth birthday, the connection that our weapons share was broken so none of us has talked to each other in years. It's like texting almost."

"What's texting?"

"Who knows."

"How is FuriousDestroyer?"

"He's fine. The healing potion I gave him should cure him in a few days. Those cuts were deep. What happened?"

"Yesterday, a monster attacked me in the middle of the night. FuriousDestroyer jumped in front of it without his armor on."

"Well we're very lucky that a non-poisonous monster attacked. Otherwise he could have died instantly. If this was a day ago, how did he heal so quickly?"

"I fed him an enchanted golden apple."

"I see. That explains it. By the way, if you don't know by now, my name's Lucinda. Wielder of the Protectors' Staff. That thing I used to move us into the house. FuriousDestroyer asked me to train you until he's better. We can start bright and early tomorrow!"

She leaves the room. I crawl under the warm bed sheets and fall to sleep.
