I feel strange waking up and knowing someone else is experiencing the same thing. I look over and realize that FuriousDestroyer is still sleeping. He's always awake before anyone. He has bags under his eyes. Minerva walks over to me.
Minerva: "Let him sleep. He desperately needs it."
Me: "Okay."
I help make breakfast with everyone else. I save a plate for whenever FuriousDestroyer decides to wake up. After I finish eating, he's still sleeping. We have to leave soon so I decide to do him a favor and wake him up. I walk over and lightly shake him awake. His eyes slowly blink open.
Me: "Hey. Wake up. We gotta go in a little bit. Eat up."
He sits up and takes the plate from me. I leave him be.
He finishes his meal very quickly and we start heading out; back on track.
. . .
The next few days are the same basically. Except I've started training with everyone. I've won some but lost almost all of them. I can tell that nobody is going easy anymore. Especially not FuriousDestroyer. I have yet to win against him. But he teaches me a lot about fighting. He knows exactly what to say to me to make me a better fighter. Maybe because he knows me like the back of his own hand.
Day after day, the temperature grows colder and colder. At one point, it started snowing. I kept nagging and nagging FuriousDestroyer until he finally said that he would have a snowball fight with me. I totally schooled him that day.
Many days passed. It went like this for many days. Getting colder and colder. Yesterday, the ground turned completely into ice and the trees were all suspended in a block of ice. Lucinda used her magics to conjure up some invisible shoe add-ons to make it so we could walk on the ice without slipping. It was too cold to turn Big Jame back into a giant. The potions to do so had frozen and lost their magical properties. So we were walking the rest of the way there.
Good news is that I haven't been dreaming anymore.
Many days passed but one day, a giant frozen castle loomed over us. It looks so familiar. Then it hits me. The castle is the same one from one of my previous dreams. The one where FuriousDestroyer led me to a demon inside the castle.
We stopped and camped only a few blocks away from the castle entrance for the night. The next morning we prepare for the worst. The castle is quiet. Which scares me even more. We decide that if we returned Big James into a giant, we'd have a bit more of an advantage. Lucinda saved her magic and managed to muster enough magic to return him to a giant. The gates into the village surrounding the castle is very tall. But we decide to return him to a giant inside the walls just in case. The entire village is empty. And frozen over. I don't see any dead bodies anywhere which I'm very thankful for.
It seems like FuriousDestroyer is leading us straight for the castle. My heart has never beat so fast. Even though it's freezing, I'm pouring with sweat. All of us have our weapons poised and ready. I've gotten much better at controlling it now. The hoe seems to glow pink whenever I use it to its full potential. The same happens with everyone else's, too.
He opens the giant doors to the castle. In the middle of the room is a throne. On the throne sits a young man dresses in red and black. He smiles when he sees FuriousDestroyer. An evil, evil smile.
???: "Hello FuriousDestroyer. Long time no see."
FuriousDestroyer: "Hello father."
