"Come on Kele, hit it again!" Anne commanded forcefully after Kele struck the heavy wooden board again, "My hand feels like it is nearly broken!" not breaking through it.

The four inch thick wooden board only wobbled, not even a crack compared to Rex's clean circle break through. Cupping the chosen hand with the other, Ke only glared. Her friend paced around the two pillars that hold it in place once more. Both hands crossed behind neatly as she watched the struggle.

"You'll get used to the pain, just push past it." Rox stated obviously, "How can I, after we train... It makes it impossible to even use a fork." while shaking her head.

"How do you think I have such a high pain tolerance? I pushed past it." Tai kept close eyes on her old friend, "I can't Roxy. My knuckles must be cracked." earning a huff.

"If they were, so what. Just because your hand hurts, doesn't mean the enemy will stop kicking your ass." Taima shifted her glace to the muddy ground, "Look at how my hands are shaking!" as the wounded hand shook.

"I know, mine did too. The pain fades when you are in the middle of a fight for life or death." Roxanne recalled mindfully as she came to a stop infront of the girl, "Hit it again." she calmly demanded.

"But I know I can't do it!" Kele growled while protecting her bad hand, "If I do, my hand will break and I like having use of my hands." she finished.

"Shut up and do it. You want to protect yourself. Push past the pain. It's part of life. You learn to ignore it and instead use it to fight even better than them." Rox shifted sideways and returned to pacing around the setup.

"Ahhh damn it!" Sucking in a sharp breath and crunching the same fist on the board once more, "Again. You will not stop till it breaks." it cracked ever so slightly.

"If I can break through it, so can you." Roxy encouraged with an aged almost wisdom voice.

With one final crunch the right fist broke through, "HA!- AH!" pain rippled through the knuckles up to her elbow.

"See with a bit of pain and grit. You can do it." Muffled cries broke through Kele's teeth as she tried to remain stoic.

"Tell me about- it..." The girl's strained and hurt voice croaked.

"Come on, let's go wrap up that hand." Anne grinned proudly, gently taking an arm arm and leading her away to the table with medical supplies.

Sitting across from each other, the veteran took some hydrogen peroxide to clean the bloody broken flesh. Before unrolling some mash and carefully weaving it between and around Kele's hand and fingers. Tightening the bandage to support the injury squoze out a yelp. It made her pull the limb away quickly. Roxy apologized immediately.

"Sorry for pushing so hard-" The teacher spoke quickly, "No it's fine-, I just don't have physical- pain tolerance..." Ke defended in return.

"I've noticed." Anne flashed a toothy smirk, "Don't sass me, I'll hit you with my good hand." the teen threatened.

"Oh really now? Do you want me to kiss it all better?" She began to lift up the hand to her lips to place the kiss, "Hey-" the Sparrow leaned forward to stop Naomi.

Their eyes gazed deeply into the other's. Keeping both whisky irises locked with Ke's golden, a ginger peck was placed on the material. In spite of the teasing, she was quite serious. A sharp gasp blew from between her soft pale pink lips. Roxy's eyes slide down to look at them longer... Who's heart thumped.

"You have improved since we began three months ago." The teacher blinked quickly and stood from the chair, "I do- learn. Just not able to- ignore pain." The teen resumed smoothly.
