I had liked my best friend/arch nemesis Katie for a while now, and today I was telling her.

In the most me way possible.

"Hey Will!" I called.

"Yeah?"

"Is it ready?!"

"Yeah!"

Oh my gods! I was literally shaking. I slapped himself. 'Come on Travis! You've done harder things than this!' But even facing an angry Annabeth sounded great right now!

He heard Will's voice, "Next up on karaoke! Traviiiiiiss Stoll!"

It was time.

I slid onto the stage, my face set into a huge grin, "Hello ladies, gentlemen, non binary daisies and the gender fluid gang! Get ready to sing your heart out! Katie Kat! This ones for you!"

He could see Percy and Connor giving him thumbs up from the crowd, mouthing 'You can do this!' and 'Happy rejection!' Such motivational words! *sniff*

The first few notes began to play, and I opened his mouth, and began to sing.

At the end of the song, Katie looked at me smiling a little, and rolled her eyes, and then she was, wait.... Katie was kissing me! Katie freaking Gardner was kissing me! Holy Hermes! The camp burst out into cheers, but I could hardly hear them, I mean, how could I, Katie was kissing me! This may have been the very best day of my life.
