Chapter 6 - I've Seen This Movie Too Many Times.

I walked back downstairs after leaving Reece outside the bathroom. I sat back down inbeteeen Chris and Charlie. I cuddled up against Chris again and he put his arms around me. Charlie had already grabbed my legs and put them over his lap as he played with my toes.

Once 'Toy Story 2' had finished, me and Charlie went upstairs to watch 'Mean Girls' while all the other boys either want to bed, went in the shower or stayed downstairs

"You feeling any better yet?"

"I guess so. Reece followed me to the bathroom earlier to try and apologise but he wanted to put his hand on my cheek but i moved away in fear. It was then that he realised that i'm scared of him. I'm scared of him Charlie."

"I know baby gurl, i know."

"This movie is really doing my headin"

"Shh Charlie it's my favourite part."

Cady was sat with the plastics and she was explaining that she was from Africa. Karen asked Cady why she was white if she was from Africa and then Gretchen gasps and scolds Karen by saying 'oh my god Karen you cant just ask people why their white'. It's like the best movie quote ever and i knew it off by heart.

"You're so sad. As if you know it off by heart."

"I'v seen this movie too many times."

I reached for my phone to see what time it was but i saw i had a text from Reece which I received 1 minute ago.

From Reece

Come into the kitchen please x

"Hey Charlie. I'm going to go make a hot chocolate. Do you want anything?"

"Yeah, can I have a hot chocolate aswell please? With cream and marshmallows."

"Of course."

I ran downstairs and into the kitchen to find the lights off with alot of candles around the room. I walked up to the island in the middle of the kitchen and found a plate with nutella on toast on it. There was a new unopened large jar of nutella with a postit note stuck on it saying

'Sorry x'

I began to eat the toast when 'Thinking Out Loud' by Ed Sheeran came on in the background and I turned around and Reece was stood in a fancy dress shirt and and Dress pants with fancy shoes. Hes dressed all fancy and im in my pjamas and my cheeks are full of nutella on toast. I bet i'm a sight to see.

"Well, i didn't imagine you looking like that at this moment. Especially with your cheeks full of toast but you look like a cute hamster so i suppost it'll do."

I swallowed the toast in my mouth and wiped the nutella from my face.

"What's all this?"

"The beginning of an apology because i want my best friend back. I know it will take more than this big i'm willing to do whatever it takes to get you back."

He started to walk towards me and i backed up until i hit the fridge. I was still scared of him. This isn't going to fix the fear.

"Emily babe, you don't have to be scared of me. I'm not going to hurt you, ever."

"You already have Reece. This doesn't change anything."

"I know Emily. I really am sorry. I don't know what came over me. You're my best friend. Of course i'm not going to hurt you.

"Was"

"What?"

"I was your best friend. Not anymore. The fear isn't going to go away Reece. I need to get my trust back in you. How do I know your not going to do it again?"

I began to get things ready to make me and Charlie hot chocolate and put the kettle on.

"I'm not going to do it again Emily. Surely you know that."

"I don't though Reece, thats the problem. I'm sorry."

I added the toppings to mine and Charlie's hot chocolates and took them upstairs.

"Wow, this looks amazing. Thankyou Emily."

"Your welcome. It's the least I could do after you helping me feel better."

"Are you actually feeling any better?"

"Yes, actually. It really helps that I have supportive people around me to help aswell."

"Well, we'll always be here for you, especially me. No matter what."

"Thankyou Charlie. Your an amazing best friend."

"Its okay baby gurrllll. Anything for you.
