2 weeks later

It was Junhoe's funeral. Rose broke down finding out on the day she was discharged from the hospital. She's was furious.

Junhoe's lifeless body was sent to Australia for the funeral. Rose didn't go, or should i say Chaeyoung. She wants to find X. She wants to kill him. She wants to torture him and feel the pain she had gone through. But, she was blinded by revenge so much making her turn to a criminal rather than a police.

She was different. She was obsessed to finding him. She turned her back on saving people to find X.

No one knows her pain. No one except for the chief. He is helping her find X after he found out that she was the child who survived after Junhoe left a note, but he knows Rose changed to a complete person.

"Is Rose here?" Jungkook asked.

"No... Ever since Junhoe died and after she fainted. She changed..." Jisoo replied, "She changed to someone who is not like her."

Jisoo sighed. She wants to know what's happening to her, but she wont tell her. They've been friends for a few months and she knows that Rose they are calling is not Rose anymore.

"Anyway, an investigation was applied to the car collision 3 weeks ago."

"Who's handling it?"

"I know our station isn't handling it, his name is Kwon Ji-Yong from a police station from Japan."

"Ji-Yong?" He asked.

"Yup. I have no idea who he is. The chief was mad when it was transferred to him cause we don't have as much info on him."

"Oh."

Jungkook went to the investigation quarter to meet Ji-Yong. They did meet, but something made Jungkook to shut his mouth. He looked at him with no emotions.

Rose soon met him also. He acted nice and soon got along well if him.

2 weeks past and Ji-Yong acted like a father figure to Rose. Jungkook still didn't trust him.

"Samchon (uncle)!" Rose called.

Ji-Yong turned around seeing Rose, "Rose," He smiled.

That smiled turned into a horrendous look.

"AH!" Rose yelled.

Ji-Yong took his gun and pointed to the man who shot Rose, but missed her slightly, this still caused a small cut across her face.

Ji-Yong ran to catch the man, he glanced at Rose seeing her lying on the floor, he wanted to help her, but wanted to catch the man.

Jungkook then arrived at the scene, "Rose! Are you okay? What happened?"

"Someone shot me, but slightly missed me..." She looked up and remembered that Ji-Yong went to get him, "Wait! Ji-"

BANG!

A gun shot was heard. They both ran to see Ji-Yong. He was shot on the stomach. Jungkook looked around seeing no one.

Ambulance came and brought them to the hospital. He was bleeding.

4 hours of surgery, the doctors said he was fine since the bullet missed the important place. He was lucky.

Rose couldn't be more happy. But Jungkook and the chief were not. After a week of the event happening, Jungkook changed.
