Jungkook's POV

It's been 2 days. We found out that Yoongi and Jin was part of the Serpents. That's funny... I have been trying to look for Rose. I shouldn't have shot her...

"Jungkook?"

"Uh- Jisoo noona..."

She leaned on my desk, "The interview is ready. You have to go and make your speech."

After Mr. X was finally found. We have to a make statement.

I looked at the room with reporters inside and publishers.

"Hello, i'm Jeon Jungkook. After countless of murders that Kwon Ji-Yong had assisted or killed, we have finally found him. He made his first move 15 years ago. He killed a family for money. A family that was a close friend towards his family. He thought he had killed their daughter, but she did not die. Her name was Park Chaeyoung. Her aunt took her to Australia. She lived a normal life until Mr. Kwon had started his killing spree 3 years ago. Why is that? He found out that Ms. Park was alive. He wanted to make Ms. Bom scared for her life."

Jungkook took a deep breath and continued, "Park Chaeyoung not knowing her past, she came back here to work for our police station. In the crew, we made friends with her. Lots of us got close with her. Then, she got her memories back. Just getting her memories, her brother that she had not remembered for many years, died in the hands of Mr. Kwon. This changed her. 2 days ago, she shot Mr. Kwon after he killed all her bloodline leaving her alone. We tried to stop her, but unfortunately we couldn't. Ms. Park is no where to be found, and so."

Jungkook looked at the camera, "If you are watching this, please come back. Please be well."

The interview was finished and i left the building. I was alone. I wanted to be alone. It's a breezy night and lonely one.

My phone started ringing, i took it.

"Jeon Jungkook speaking-"

"Hey..."

"Rose! Where are-"

"Please wear a jacket, it's cold."

"You see me? Y-you see me! Where are you!" I'm crying.

"Look... Take care of yourself... I won't be returning. I'm sorry for the commotion that happened..."

"No... I'm sorry for the appa's deeds..."

"Jungkook... I love you... Sorry, this will be the last time you will hear me..."

The call ended.

"No! Rose!"

I called the number several time no answers. Tears fell unstoppable.

"Rose!" I yelled as i looked at every direction, "Please come back... Please..." I fell onto my knees crying, "Please..."

Author's POV

Rose was looking at Jungkook crying far away. She wanted to comfort him but cannot. She knows she wont get charge, but she wants to live a normal life. A different life and forget all the commotion that had happened.

2 teens who did not know had crossed with each other when they were 5, crossed path with each others again, but this time the pain and suffering, questions that was left unanswered was finally gone.

2 years later

Seoul changed. 730 days had passed. Criminals were much more easier to catch. More police is getting recruited making Seoul more safer than 2 years ago.

"Jungkook!" Jisoo yelled.

"What noona?" He asked annoyed.

"I'm leaving for maternity leave and i want you to drive me to Jeju island." Jisoo said as she caress her baby bump.

"Sure, when?"

"Tomorrow."

Jungkook nodded and went inside the police station to drop off food for his step-dad. Jungkook retired 2 years ago. 2 weeks after Rose called him. He wanted to forget everything. He wanted to restart.

He walked and glanced at the service room. New people was inside it. After Mr. X was found, lots quit or they were assigned in different stations in the service room. Jisoo and Joy was the only one who actually stayed. Well, for now it's Joy left.

Him looking there is different. It has a total opposite vibe like before.

He arrived at the office and settled the food and soon left.

"Noona," Jungkook looked at Jisoo as he drove, "Why Jeju island?"

"My husband lives there. Also, you've been curious who he is so, why not bring you!"

They arrived at the airport and boarded the plane. The plane ride was an hour and 10 minutes. Upon arriving, a driver took them to the more country sided place.

They arrived at a big house and soon a man came.

"Jisoo!" He yelled and ran to Jisoo to hug.

"Jin hyung?"

Jin pulled away from Jisoo and looked at Jungkook with total surprise. He looked at Jisoo.

"Look sweetie, it's been 2 years, they need to see each other."

Jin sighed and smiled, "Come in." He said to Jungkook.

Jungkook looked at him and followed the couple. Soon he saw Yoongi brushing a cat.

Yoongi looked over and changed his expression right away upon seeing Jungkook. Jin signalled him and soon Yoongi cleared his throat, "Looks like another guest arrived unexpectedly, i'll go set his plate." Yoongi took his crunches and started walking to the kitchen.

Jungkook looked up and down at Yoongi then to Jin.

"How is the office doing?" Jin asked trying to change the focus to him.

"Looks like noona didn't say, I actually quit." Jungkook fake laughed, "So you were here the whole time."

"Yeah..." Jin looked down, "Do you want to see Rose again?"

Jungkook's eyes shot up.
