Chapter Fifteen

When the group separated Mark went straight for Darkiplier, he wasn't sure what his alter ego had in store for him as everyone else had to fight their own battles, meanwhile, Mark had to deal with the ultimate boss. Carefully sneaking upstairs he went searching for Dark and the notebook of weaknesses. As he walked through the house he heard someone in the kitchen quickly ducking out of sight he carefully looked around the corner and saw Dark walking out of the kitchen and toward the bedroom.

As Dark made his way out of the kitchen in his hand he held a small gun which looked like a smaller version of the giant laser he had in the basement. Mark's eyes widened as he had seen that the crystal was attached to the handheld laser. However, Dark stopped in his tracks as Mark hid behind a corner. Suspicious Dark made his way over to the corner in which he sensed he was being watched. Mark heard the sound of Dark's footsteps walking toward his hiding spot. He pushed back against the wall with his eyes closed hoping that Dark wouldn't see. But that was all a deception as Dark went around the corner and grabbed Mark's arm causing Mark to open his eyes and fall landing at Dark's feet.

"How'd you get out!"

Mark stood up now with more bravery and heroism. He was sick of Dark always taking advantage of his victims and manipulating them to do his bidding. It was time to end Dark once and for all.

"Lets just say that my girlfriend has outsmarted you,"

"Oh has she now?" says Dark with a devious grin on his face "But you see, while the three of you were unconscious, I was able to hit Amy with my laser causing her alter ego to come out,"

"Wait what?"

"You really thought you had me? You thought you outnumbered Lucifer and I three to one well you were wrong,"

"Dark, you will regret ever trying to free yourself from me!" says mark with more confidence, as he had thought that he caught Dark red handed. However, Dark had started to laugh evilly; confusion swept across Mark's face as he was trying to figure out why Dark was laughing. Had it been something he said? Or was it something else.

"What?!" yells Mark "What's so funny!"

"You,"

"What about me," says Mark as his hands turned into fists.

"You think you can defeat me easily," he says "But you're missing one thing," continued Dark as he held up the notebook of weaknesses. "This,"

"That's where you're wrong Dark," protested Mark "I may not be able to get that notebook from you but I can take that laser and crystal you have in your hands," with that, Mark jumped at Dark knocking him off his feet. Immediately a fight broke out, Mark and Dark, light and dark, good and evil fought against each other. As the two fought Mark tried to grab the crystal from his hand but Dark held on so tight that he let go of it and it flew across the room, landing on the floor. Distracted, Dark turned toward Mark punching and kicking. Mark dodged each attack, whenever Dark swung left, Mark dodged right then laid a hit on Dark's face.

Noticing that the crystal had landed on the other side of the room Mark dove for it practically landing on his stomach and trying to grab it, however, Dark saw what he was doing and grabbed Mark by the legs pulling him away from the crystal.

"Hey!" yelled Mark as he turned toward Dark "Let me go!" with a swift kick of his leg Mark hit Dark in the most sensitive part of his body. This caused Dark to groan in pain and land on his knees. Mark reached for the crystal and as he had his hand on it, Dark had other ideas as he started to recover he noticed what Mark was trying to do. Angered, Dark points his hand at a closet that he knew where the weapons were hidden. Using his telekinetic powers a staff came flying out, Dark caught the staff and practically swung it at Mark; as if on cue Mark's instincts took over and he turned using the crystal to block the strike. What Mark didn't expect was that when the staff touched the crystal he saw light coming out of it.
