Sean dragged me into the dark room off to the side of the dining room. And when I say dark, I mean pitch black. Absolutely zero light. I started to get a little nervous. Just being alone in the dark with Sean, it made my heart skip a beat. I shook it off though and finally managed to speak. "U-U-Uhm... S-S-Sean... t-t-the l-l-lights..." I managed to stammer out. I wasn't too fond of the darkness, though I wasn't going to admit that.
"I'm tryin' to find the switch. Just hold on, k?" Sean said as he started to fumble around in the darkness, swatting at the wall. All of a sudden, something crashed to the ground, creating an incredibly loud crash. I couldn't help it, I probably jumped 5 feet backwards... directly into Sean. I could feel my face turning red in the darkness and he kept his hands on my shoulders.
I expected him to let go and find the light switch, but he didn't. Instead, he wrapped his arms around my waist from behind me and leaned his head on mine. My face was burning by this point, this was by far the most contact I have ever had with a guy. Sean's voice broke the silence. "Don't worry, I got ya... No one will hurt ya with me around..." he said, leaning down to whisper in my ear. My heart started going a mile a minute."O-O-Okay..." was all that I managed to mutter out.
He soon let go of me and within a minute, the lights in the room flicked on, revealing a lounge and bar. At one end of the room was a large stage, the mahogany hardwood covered in a thin layer of dust. Off to the side of the stage was a grand piano, ready to be played at any moment. Along one wall was a bar, with an assortment of alcohol on the shelf behind it. The rest of the room was filled with tables, chairs, and a few booths lining the walls. Despite the layer of dust, it seemed to be in pretty good shape. There wasn't much more to the room than that, it simply being a nice lounge with a bar.
"So it's a bar, huh? I could really use a drink." Sean said as he headed around to the other side of the bar. "Ya want one Asuka?" He asked with that charming smile of his. It was impossible to say no to that, so I nodded my head. He made us some drinks, brought the bottle with him and led me over to one of the booths, sliding in beside me. My heart was pounding a mile a minute.
"S-Should w-we r-really b-be d-drinking...?" I stuttered out. We were supposed to be finding a key after all. Sean just smiled and slid his arm around my waist, chugging down a drink. "Well, we looked around this room, and there's really nothin' but the bar and the stage. So while the other finish searchin', why don't we enjoy ourselves?" He said with a smile, pouring another drink.
"G-Good p-point..." I muttered as I drank my drink. Maybe I could relax a little, loosen up some. I finished it and had Sean pour me another one. I wondered how the others' searches were going, but the more I drank, the less I focused on that. By my third drink, I was pretty buzzed. So was Sean.
I looked up at him, my cheeks burning red from the alcohol. "You're cute." I said quietly, the alcohol zapping my stutter away. Sean just grinned at me. "Look at ya, talkin' without a stutter."
I couldn't help but giggle in response. "I guess the alcohol loosens me up a bit." I said, scooting a little bit closer to him. It really was making everything easier. I finished off my drink and waited for Sean to finish his. He set his glass down and looked at me, a hunger in his eyes.
"Asuka... I hope ya don't hate me for this..." He said as he wrapped both arms around my waist, pulling me onto his lap. And without another word, his lips met mine. I was beyond surprised, so I pulled away. He looked at me with a frown. "I'm so sorry Asuka, I didn't mean to-" was all he got out before I cut his words off with my own lips. He had shocked me so much as first, I was just taken off guard.
But this time, I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back. This probably wasn't the best time for this, but screw it. No guy has ever wanted to kiss me, I'm not saying no. But, you have to love when moments get ruined, right? Because within a minute, the doors flung wide open.
"Yo! Dude and dudette! Kai found somethin' upstairs!" Ella said as she burst through the door, her bright blue twintails flowing behind her. She stopped dead in her tracks though when she saw us, a grin spreading from ear to ear. "Oh! It seems like I interrupted something!" she said with a happy tune in her voice.
I immediately got off of Sean's lap and we both jumped up, our faces beet red. Well, we're sober now. "S'all good Ella, what's up?" Sean asked her, glancing away from me. I hoped that wasn't just a one-time drunk thing... but I'll worry about that later. I looked at Ella as well, a confused expression on my face.
"Just come on! Follow me!" Ella shouted as she darted back out of the room. Sean and I glanced at each other and followed Ella out of the room.
