Deviant Couple // Simkus Fan Fiction

Part 5

                      ~3rd person~

Once Josh and Markus got back to the mansion, they noticed that everything was a lot cleaner. There was no dust, no dishes and every single bit of the house was neat and tidy. It was strange, with North around it was clear that at least something should have been untidy.

Markus told Josh that he would go find Simon. Of course Josh agreed, he knew about the little crush Simon had on Markus and thought that maybe that way Markus would develop feeling for Simon too, though he knew that there was already something in the back of Markus' mind. That something was probably a crush on Simon.

Just as said, Markus went around the mansion and found Simon in the studio. He had tidied up the paints and all of the tools. Markus thought that he had never seen the studio look that clean. The second thing he noticed was Simon. He was starring at Markus' first painting. It was about Androids and hope. Simon's LED was flashing from yellow to red.
"Do you like it?" Markus asked. The sudden sound of his voice made Simon flich a little.
"Huh...? Yes, I do like it" he said. His voice still sounded robotic.
Markus stepped closer to Simon. They were only inches apart. The brown skinned Android took Simon's hand and gently grabbed his waist at the same time. The blond android was very confused. He looked at their hands. The skin had dissapeared and there was a faint blue light coming from them.
"Simon, please wake up" Markus whispered softly. The reaction Simon had was exactly what Markus was hoping to see. He couldn't believe that he didn't think of waking him up on his own.

Simon's LED turned orange and his knees almost gave in. Finally, he was back to normal. He looked up in Markus' eyes as his cheeks turned a light blue colour, which intensified as he became fully conscious of the way Markus was holding him.
"Markus... Thank you, I hated being the way I was... back then" Simon said. The urge to hug Markus was overwhelming, all until Simon remembered everything that happened in between Markus and North.
"I'm so glad, I missed you Simon" Markus said quietly. The way he was whispering and his tone created an intimate atmosphere, it showed a side of Markus that Simon had never seen before. Yet it felt wrong. Shouldn't this have been the type of moment shared by lovers only? Markus was with North, wasn't he?. The thoughts overflowed Simon's head, so much so that he didn't even hear Markus when he called his name.
"Hey, Simon, what's wrong?" Markus asked.
"Markus, what happened with you and North?" Simon asked. The question was sudden and surprising for Markus, but due to it, he now understood Simon's feelings for him. Their hands were connected so he could see everything the blond android was thinking.
"It didn't work out, we decided to stay friends. Simon, you're the one I like" Markus confessed.

The whole scene almost brought tears to Simon's eyes. They were tears of happiness of course. After all the time he spent thinking that he had no chance of having his feelings returned, he finally did. He couldn't have been happier.
"Markus, I like you too" Simon said as he blush got darker. Markus giggled a bit "I know" he said and kissed Simon's forehead.
"If I didn't know better, I would say you have blue ink on your face" he teasingly told him. Simon hit him weakly and looked down.

After the confession, the two of them spent the rest of the day together, trying to get to know each other a bit more. They talked about their interests and about their past as well as about how they would tell Josh and North about them officially being a couple. They expected a shocked reaction and maybe a few yells from North, but they knew their friends would be accepting of them. The worst would happen would be constant teasing from North, possibly Josh too.
