Stark's POV:

xander and I had been walking for hours when the house finally came into view. as we neared the perimeter a big gang of wolves came out of nowhere and circled us. "lycan shift now and tell me what the meaning of this is" I said and my beta shifted and said " its nothing against you alpha its xander he is wanted for questioning by the council" he looked down as if he was afraid in would lash out at him. I looked at xander and he nodded. "very well then I will bring you may go." I said and started walking away with xander behind me as we ma our way back to the house. he was quiet while we were walking but I knew he was behind me still. we both knew the council wouldn't him but that doesn't mean they wouldn't punish him in some way. we walked in the front door and waiting for us was the council Micah and sapphire included. Izzy was next to them I ran up to her and wrapped her in a bear hug. "they found you?" are you OK? are you hurt? if they hurt you I will kill them!" I said burying my head in her neck as she said "I'm healing" she wrapped her arms around him and said "I thought you were dead...I almost gave up because of it..." I looked up at her then and pressed my like to hers forgetting for a moment that her parents were right next to us until someone cleared their throat. we broke apart both blushing. " well stark you had better be my daughters mate to be touching her that way because if you aren't I warn you I am ready to rip you to shreds" said Micah smirking and I was shocked for a second before I said "yes I am Izzy's mate and I'm very sorry for my behavior I just was very worried about her the last couple days and I couldn't help myself." Micah laughed then and said "well in that case I guess I will turn a blind eye this one time." then they both started laughing and the tension left the room immediately.

emeralds POV:

I walk in to the library and find my mom sitting on the love seat reading odd Thomas by dean koontz. I walk in and sit next to her. she looks up at me expectingly but I'm not sure how to say what I know I must. it was going to be the first time I had talked to her since dean and I freed durza without her knowing. finally I decided I would have to just spit it out. "mom...did you know...that you had a twin?" I asked looking at her waiting for any sign of disbelief but none came. " yes I did a few years ago my father told me but he informed me that he died many years ago because of Lilith."  I quickly shook my head and told everything that had happened when we had found durza and how he made me promise to summon him so he could meet my mother. my mom had started crying at the end but before I could ask her if she wanted to meet him she was already shaking her head and whispering "yes let me meet him" I grabbed her hand and pulled her outside into the forest until we came to a big oak tree. "this is the place where grandfather handed durza over to the vampires I think this will be the best place to reach him."  I said and she just nodded tears still running down her face. I closed my eyes and focused my thoughts on durza's face and beckoned him to come towards me I felt a gust of wind and when I opened my eyes durza stood before me smiling. he touched my face and said"thank you for keeping your promise to me I know we only knew each other for a short time but I couldn't have been more proud of my new niece you are powerful and strong not only physically but mentally as well and that is one of the best traits you could ever have. it means you won't be easily fooled and you will not be easily beat in a battle. I wish I could have had more time with you but my was up and I must deal with that but I want you to know that I love you dearly and I will always keep in my heart." I started crying when he said this and he wiped my tears and turned to my mother. he walked towards her and looked as though he was going to reach out and touch her but stopped midway and put his arms awkwardly at his sides. she ran up to him and threw her a rounds him crying into his shoulder he reached up and started stroking her hair as she wept and when she was finished and looked up at him he said "I'm sorry I never got to meet you properly but I wanted you to that meeting you was all I ever thought about...I wish things could have been different..." he broke off in a sob and my mother held him and said comforting things and then durza turned around and looked up " our time is up...I'm sorry to both of you for not being able to be her longer I love you both" he said and just like that he was gone. my mother fell to the ground and cried and screamed as I held her and tried to comfort her for hours before she fell asleep and I carried her inside to bed.
